If we want to think anyone on this deal, IMHO we should thank Eddie Fogler.  

When Eddie Fogler, the former Vanderbilt and South Carolina coach who was a friend of both Weiser and Huggins, first suggested the possibility, Weiser was skeptical but considered it out of respect for Fogler's opinion.

So, thank you Coach Fogler!  EMAW hero.
