Embarrassing.  Some things never change.

It is what's to be expected though with all the retreads that have been assembled by OB to "coach-up".

I think Dominique Jones will commit to us after he makes his last visit, which is Baylor.

He may committ to us only because it's Baylor we're up against.  But the mere fact that we still have not closed on this kid is ridiculous.  The schools he liked better then us (MU and Arizona) are full and have dropped him.  His cousin is coming to K-State, we're close to home, we've been on him since the beginning what is the frreaking hold up.

I have tried to defend this staff but it's getting pretty hard to do.  This kid is still out there looking for something better after all this time what does that say about our staff?  If you don't close on a kid someone else is probably going to have a decommit or something and come in and steal him from us with a last minute push.

The good news is that Bill will be quick to shed those guys who aren't pulling their weight and go in a new, fresh and notably younger direction.

Hey, hey hey.  The kid from Abilene accepted the gray shirt offer (included turning down a full needs based scholarship to the Ivy League).  Hard to ignore that one.

Just sayin',

It takes brass balls to recruit football players.
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

Got a WR from Florida that had no other division IA offers.  Said ku impressed him and all that.

Huge get.  Might be as good as KSU's gray shirt (or better).

I saw they got a two star LB from Iowa to decommitt from SMU, a 3 star WR from Florida that had no other offers, an a unrated OT from Virginia that had offers from places like Buffalo and Rhode Island and a 2 star DE from Overland Park that had no other offers.

While we're waiting for 16's explanation for his hurtful post, how should we be pronouncing "WRSOAT?"

Is it "Wur-Sote" or perhaps "Ware-Soat?"  OR, is the W silent and the S is soft, like "Erse-Oat?"

"Wur-Sote"

When I look away from the screen and then quickly turn back to WRSOAT my mind says Wur-Sote.

That was my first instinct as well.  Though, "Erse-Oat" seems kinda cool.  Probably better go with our gut on this one.  Wur-sote.

    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.
