KSU Fans, please do NOT kick the ass of ku fans who show up at Gameday!

I have learned that there are some other message boards out there advocating ku fans showing up to Gameday in Manhattan wearing ku gear, and even suggesting that they do the "Rock Chalk" chant at game day.

While it will be extremely tempting to violently attack ku fans who do this, we must use restraint.

Sure, there is really no way that you'll get caught or face any real consequences if you follow a "Rock Chalk" chanting ku fan out of Gameday into the parking lot and bash their nose in.   But does that mean you should do it?  No.  Be the bigger man.

Heck, I understand that even the biggest, toughest, ku fans will be vastly outnumbered.  If a scrawny KSU fan wanted to just sneak up and jack a "Rock Chalk" chanting ku fan in the chin and run away, they would be zero chance of retribution from the ku fans...they are vastly outnumbered and in angry territory.  But, what would be the honor in that?

Also, as we know there is little or no security in the parking lots for basketball games.  Vandalizing Douglas county tagged cars and/or cars with "ku" stickers,  etc. would likely be quite easy and there would be little or no chance of being caught.  But, is this really the message that we want out there about KSU?


In summary, let's all pledge to be models for sportsmanship and good will.  Clearer heads must prevail!

I have spent a lot of time around K-Staters, and I think I have a clear handle on "how they think."  I think we can rest easy...  

While it will be exceedingly easy to react with violence to ku fans chanting the "Rock Chalk," and while there is virtually zero chance of negative repercussions for this kind of act, I am certain no harm will befall any ku fans...because I believe in KSU fans and their spirit of sportsmanship and sense of dignity.  

I am thinking about getting stickers printed up that say "I said NO to kicking ku fan's asses at Gameday."  Maybe in the shape of a circle or something, and then hand them out as people leave the OOD after gameday.  Everyone will wear them around the 'Ville and later at the game....will really get the message out there.  We CAN make a positive difference in this world!

I agree with you, pete.  I'm an angry person and I know people who plan on spray painting cars in the parking lot, but who would I be if I joined in?  Just another angry fan getting maybe a half hour of pure but fading pleasure by beating in a ku fan's face with a brick I brought to the game.

The guy who cleans our house is a ku grad and told me he plans on doing this.  (I offered him an old KSU shirt to wear but he told me he was too fat)

I have got to get this off of my chest.  Two years ago at the ku game I came across this frat guy type in ku gear in the parking lot.  I took my shoe and sock off on one foot, beat him with my shoe and then choked him unconscious with my sock.  It was kind of an impulse thing.  Exactly what SD said would happen did.  I got with the hottest girl I could imagine (3 times.) And so what if I'm popular, successful, and married a supermodel.  I still can never consider myself a "good person" because of what I have done.  Even if everyone around me keeps insisting that I am.
