Guys:
Lots of excitement here in Wildcat land. With rumors out there that LHC Syndder is ready to take a young pup under his wing and teach him the ways of winning football, it seems that many, many veteran HCs have found ways to get out of their current coaching commitments to make themselves available to Snydre to be tutored in the ways of K-State football. My question is, which, choice is, the best one?
I like Leach, but afraid his "devil may care" attitude, unruly hair, and pirate offense may not fly with many of our more staid Wildcat veterans. After all, if you can't run the ball, you can't win Dr. Peppers.
Leavitt and Mangino probably can instill the needed discipline in the youngsters, but can we afford Mangino's cafeteria plan? And Leavitt will probably just leave us again for the next Florida job that comes up.
Tuberville is saying he's interested in the Tech job, but I have it on good authority that if Snyder offers him HCIW, he's here. Good defensive mind.
Urban Meyer's playing on again off again with Florida, because Bill won't give him a definite yes or no. He thought he was on here as HCIW a couple of weeks ago when he announced his retirement, but Bill's been playing him along. Afraid this may wind up being another Patterson situation, folks. Not sure his ticker could handle our brutal Kansas winters. Just IMHO.
Carroll clearly wants to leave USuCk. If Bill would just step it up, Carroll could come in, and have heard that he's ready to bring a lot of 5* recruits with him.
It's been pretty quiet with Stoops, but sources told me that Venables' unmentionable sin is just a fabrication to keep us from hiring him, because Bob is the one who really wants to be brought in as HCIW. But keep it on the DL, guys.
Bill Cowher did well int he NFL, but I'm not sure he's cut out for the NFL game. And Jim Mora is a loser. But I think we should give Holmgren some serious considerations.
Finally, someone told me they think Lombardi and Rockne may be dead. But if not, I think they need to be near the top of the list. Although, I'm concerned that today's recruits may not remember the initial part of their careers that well.

So many good choices for us, guys. Who should we accept?
