I think Texas is going to take Alabuma to the wooden shed tonight.  They should be able to stop Buma's rushing attack, even though they struggled against Nubb.  Colt McCoy 4 life.

UT 34
Buma 27

 8-)

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I keep remembering how Prince's defensives twice made Colt look like a pussy. Gotta go with Bama.

I agree about Burma.  Texas has this one out of the bag.

really want texas to win. not confident though.

although bama did get embarrassed last year by utah. texas needs to run some no-huddle, that's what screwed up bama last year. not a lot of no-huddle in the sec.

I think the x factor in this game is Texas running game..They wont be able to win just throwing the whole time..Bama will probably spy on Mccoy the whole game..so other guys are going to have to step up in the running game

Shouldn't even be close.  If Tejas doesn't win this game, they should just shut down their athletic program.

Don't see our CTR rivals winning this one. Texas doesnt have any victories as impressive as Alabama's dismantling of Florida. Texas won't be able to put up many points on Bamas defense unless they get great field position from returns, turnovers, etc.

Bama 31
Whorns 13

If, as reported here:  UT vs. Burma (a.k.a Myanmar), UT - 55 70, 'Burma 0 (even a brutal tyrant is no match for the Burnt Orange - he shouldn't have pissed off those monks).

However, if UT is still playing 'Bama tonight, I'd say it's much closer:  UT 21, 'Bama 20 - last minute rushing touchdown after a long pass play and/or return from Shipley wins the game.  McCoy has his Vince Young moment before fading into obscurity.  Mack shocks the world with his surprise retirement announcement tomorrow.

Was in Birminham yesterday and can report that the Pittsburgh of the south is a ghost town. Massive exodus to Cali-fornia taking place via Shuttlesworth Intl Airport. Those few souls remaining in town are worried about the coming apocalypse (1 Inch of Snow) interupting their ability to view the match.

If UT shuts down the Bama run game, which I think they can, UT wins.  Alabama is pathetic when they have to throw the ball.  I think this will be a low scoring game o/u around 27 (not including special teams and D scores)

Betting on Texas tonight.  Anyone who wants to win big money might want to bet the opposite as I am a horrible gambler.  Picking Texas because I have heard way too many people agree with what phicat said.  That's my logic boys.  :whistle1:
Here's hoping that Clams is chillin' with someone cool up in that big EMAW in the sky. RIP Clams, RIP.

I always thought a woodshedding meant getting your a$$ beat.  34-27, sounds more like you played with your tea set in a wooden shed...

I swear that Texas got jobbed by the refs in that opening drive.  They had it first in goal from inside the one yard line.  There were two penalties on the play, offsetting.  Alabama had a personal foul call, ref said it will be half the distance to the goal. The ball was then placed at the 3 yard line.  WTF!?  Anyone else notice this?

Too many men in the backfield moved the ball to the 6. Half the distance after the personal foul = 3 yard line.   :dunno:
