The 24-23 loss to Kansas State does not hurt as bad now, because although we lost the battle... we won the war. Enjoy the Flint Hills of Kansas this week!! I'll be in the Desert of the Sun.

Damn, you lose Farmaggedon and are retardedly excited for NoHarmaggedon vs. Minnehaha.

Sorry but ISU already lost their bowl this year.

Games this season that go ahead of the KSU game in importance...

Iowa... Loss
Nebraska... Win
Minnesota (bowl game)... Win

I suppose you can think you were our bowl game, but we had more important games.
I'm with Coco!!

As a KSU fan I am proud to have whipped ISU.  They are a good north team.

There's no trophy for second place in Farmageddon.

It's called the "Cold Tractor" trophy and it is an albatross you must wear for eternity.

Exactly, because October 3, 2009 was the most important day in the history of the world.

Why didn't more ISU fans go to the Bowl game?  Looked pretty sparse.

didn't think it deserved it's own thread -

Nothing of real importance to report - some really geaky kid got stuck holding the door for me while like 20 other people were walking out.  :dunno:

Ok?

Minnesota took 1,500; Missouri only promised to take 3,000

Iowa State took 15,000 and likely sold 5-10,000 more directly through Insight. I think that is pretty good considering we are the 2nd best football team in a state of roughly 3 million people. Insight Bowl reps have had nothing but good things to say about Iowa State before the bowl, during the bowl, and after the bowl.

If you are going to start making numbers up with nothing to support, why not start at 20,000 and go up from there?  That's what ku fans did after the Orange bowl.  We both know MN brought more than 1500 but we can play the turnstile game.

    I may be full of sh*t, but i won't be de-turd.
Read in the KSU football Vault book that Haskin wrote....that for the 'Cuse vs. KSU game or Tennessee vs. KSU , we brought 50,000 some fans. Set some record for fans across state lines. 15,000 seems like nothing to me :dunno:
I walk out of that tunnel in this building and the passion of our fans, just gets me going. I mean just gives me an adrenaline rush that you guys just don't understand. - Frank Martin

FWIW: 1997 Fiesta Bowl and 2001 Cotton Bowl; respectively.
