just goddamned sad. I love how we thought we had a chance at grisssom.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I find it unreal that OU offered both the Big 12 Offensive and Defensive newcomers of the year last year.

They have an unreal staff. There is a reason they dominate this conference.

I know, right?  OU totally can identify talent way better than any other staff in the conference.  No big surprise that, with that uber-talented staff, they totally dominate the conference and never have an issue at QB.

They haven't done a great job with qb.  Heuple(?) wasn't physically gifted, Hybl sucked.  White had an NFL Oline and WR's and AD for a year.  Bomar was a big swing and miss.  Newton may change all that though.

Bradford is going to be one of the firs QBs drafted next year.  Not true with Jason White.  White was more of a system QB, like so many of TTU's guys.  Bradford is a legitimate talent.  Newton is going to be a huge failure at OU.    The only action the Cam will see at qb the next 2 years will be a few snaps per game out of the wildcat formation.

Look at what they had around them though.  They just stand back there and chuck it up.  Heisman is an incredibly overrated award and has been for a while.

Does it matter?  Great college QBs.  This is like the argument that Mack Brown is a sh1tty coach because he has tons of talent/resources.

OU has NFL talent all over the field because their coaches are really good at identifying it in recruiting.  Except qb.  that's my point I guess.

That's fine.  Tons of fantastic college QBs aren't NFL QBs.  But, Bradford and White were amazing in their OU prime.  How could they have been better :dunno:

They could have put up stupid numbers and won awards for the best college player of a certain year.   :Driving:

Landry jones is a really good example.  They went to New Mexico to get him.

IMO failure to recruit a dynamic qb is the sole reason that big game bob hasn't won another title.

Finding extremely talented, highly recruited dudes is not that difficult.  Dude was the #6 QB in the nation and was recruited by schools in every part of the country.  It's not like they discovered him out in the middle of nowhere and were the only staff to recognize his talent.

Dude, Bradford won the freaking Heisman last year.  How much more dynamic do you want?  50 TDs and 8 INTs isn't dynamic enough for you?

All I"m saying is, why can't bob stoops find a qb that can get it done?  he finds guys at pretty much every other position.

Bradford had really good numbers vs Texas.

vs Florida, game was very close.  Tebow sucked for much of the game, is he "dynamic"

The system didn't make Bradford, Bradford made the system.  I don't understand how any of you compare Bradford to White.  White had a great deep ball and for a while had some pretty good legs to scramble on.  Bradford's accuracy is just sick and he has a good arm to go with it.
