I'm with you.

If we can win 4 big 12 games with freaking Gregory, then Harper/Slammur should be glorious.

No matter how many times it happens it is still just so damn adorable when ku fans try and talk football.  It's like a baby panda, wearing little cowboy boots, handing a bouquet of flowers to a puppy who is wearing a big cowboy hat.

K-State won't even need to throw the ball with Harper and Thomas in the backfield.

Agreed.

Offense should look like a few of these (below), with a pretty high run-to-pass ratio.  It's back in style.

yeah, but look at the 4 we won.  ISU (nuetral), A&M, CU, ku.  All crappy teams. I mean, next year we've got:

NU
Farmageddon
@ku
@BU
OSU
UT
@MU
@CU

...kind of tough to pick 4 out of that.  especially with a mental retard at Def Cordinator.

We didn't need to throw it to beat ku this year but against good competition we'll need to be more diverse.

If you squint, 4 of those still look like winners.  I'll go with Farm., @ku ("new system"), @BU (if our scout team can do anything, it's replicate Griffin), and @CU (Hawk will be fired by then or surrounded in turmoil).  We'll get three of those.

We'll win 2 of the first 3 non-con's and will be in Texas for our final game....which will be a playoff game to see if we get to come back Texas for a bowl game.

We'll beat a garbage Big East team to finish 7-6.  WE'RE BACK, BABY!

You ever actually seen CH play or are you just passing along ill informed opinions again?  I've seen the kid play numerous times and he's got a pretty decent arm.  Yeah, he wasn't the most accurate QB when he was in high school, but it's not like he hasn't had tons of time to work on his mechanics and fundamentals.  If you remember correctly, neither Bish nor E3 were accurate at all when they first got to KState.  If Chris's arm is fully healthy, he can definitely be a very solid QB for us this year.

Totally forgot about that bowl game.

Yep, if we go to that bowl game I am fairly certain that I will die on that trip.  It's unavoidable.

JT, for you buddy - I will buy in to CH. I have not seen him play, but I have read many, many others talk about his throwing. However - I respect your opinion and I will buy in. You do realize that I will come at you with a multi-pronged attack if he doesn't pan out and short-hops tight ends at 10 yds ala CC.

You've read many, many dumb asses on this site talking about his ability. The same guys that bitch about every recruit, regardless of any actual knowledge of said player.  Fact is, half this board would bitch about us signing just about anyone, just to hear themselves bitch/feel like they're cool cause they bitch.  Me personally, I tend to side with the dude that has a bit of a proven record.  I'm well aware that Snyds is old.  But, until anyone on this board can produce a national coach of the year trophy or 2, I'l continue to believe Snyds knows something more about college football than this entire board combined.  Call me crazy, but I like to put my money on proven commodities.  CH has a nice arm; is it E3?  No.  Is it more than capable for 90% of the throws any offense would require?  Yes.  Are we going to the CCG next year?  No.  Am I drunk right now?  Yes.  Super Drunk?  No.

when smart people talk about stuff on this site there's usually a reason. you should listen. harper is not progressing as a qb like you would like. fact. i hope he'll turn the corner but as of right now, i'm not sure he will.

You guys can repeat, ad nauseum, the same tired old cliche's about CH all you want.  Guess there's no point in actually having some sort of actual evidence to back up your theories when you read it on the internet, right?   How many times have you guys actually, physically seen CH play QB?  If less than one, then GTFOOMMFF with your insight, cause it's nothing more than heresay.  How do you know how Harper is progressing as a QB?  You watch the practices?  You close friends with someone on the coaching staff?  Or are you hearing it third hand from the mouth of some 18 year old kid who overheard about it at a kegger last weekend?  Kids got all the physical tools to be a very nice QB , especially in our offense, and intelligence is certainly not an issue with Chris.

yes with all your championships in football and your ten total years of success you guys are experts.
According to ku police reports, the fight involved as many as 100 people.
“We’re pretty sure an incident occurred,” said Capt. Schuyler Bailey, ku Public Safety Officer
“We will handle any discipline regarding this incident internally, and we will have no further comment about it.” Perkins
