Mark Mangino was the only thing that made uk a mediocre football team.  After lews witchhunt they will bring someone like edsall and go back to the cellar with KSU and nub back at the top like it should be.  So what if he yelled at his players and poked them in the chest?  Bunch of whiny a$$ pu$$y players over there in lowrents if you ask me

Lew Perkins will hire a good football coach.  ku is a much better job than it was eight years ago when Mangino was hired.  The bottom line is that no one in the North is going to be dominating any time soon.  Look at what K-State and Iowa State did this season if you want living proof.

its sad when you are searching for a new coach, are entering a new era of your fb program, and all you are doing is trolling your big brothers boards....

Better job huh?  You think any potential coaches and their agents will consider the fact you've just fired the 2007 National Coach of the Year two years removed? Or perhaps the fact that ku witheld damning information gathered over the years only to launch a financially motivated witch hunt (Mike Leach's words not mine)?  You see coaches kind of hold those buyouts as sacred.  It's their sense of financial security which would lure them from other jobs.

You had a very good coach and you fired him.  The guy is 3 wins shy of being the all-time winningest coach in ku history.  He took your program to new heights and ku dumped him at the first sign of adversity.  Yeah, they'll be lining up for the job.

12 wins!

BCS!
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

This will really sink in in Larryville, and the seriousness of what they have done to themselves..... when Iowa State grudge humps them up and down the field next year in Ames.

It will really sink in when they whiff on every major coaching candidate and end up with Edsell or worse.

I don't know why you guys are arguing with BMW.  Hasn't his prescience about the recently completed Dr. Pepper season convinced you all of his HFBIQ bona fides?
