Edgerton qb?    I think his name is Bubba Starling.   From time to time I've seen some articles concerning there games and he seems to be pretty good and just a junior.  Could he be a good prospect for the CATS?

Everyone seems to think he's going to choose to play pro baseball instead.

Saw him play once this year and once last year. Good arm, appears to have good speed. I think he'd be a helleva college qb. It was a mismatch because Gardner is a 5A school playing a 4A team that nigh as it did most of the year. But they've rolled in the playoffs.

Supposed to have a 90+ mph fastball, so he might enter baseball draft out of high school.

All Rise... The Judge is in the house.
Tremendous athlete... Great football player... however he excels on the diamond. I think his future is brighter on the baseball side and all signs point to him going into the MLB draft. I have seen the kid play in both sports, very fun to watch.

If you're going to be a first round pick in baseball it's pretty much a no brainer sign and take the money.  Only sport that allows you to get drafted and retain your amatuer status and is the only sport that will pay you the big multi million dollar contract without ever proving anything beyond the high school level.  They'll give you 5 million to go play minor league baseball for a few years and if it doesn't work out you can always go back to college and play football.

We beat Gardner in the playoffs my senior year. The game was super foggy and we couldn't see the fans but could hear them. It was awesome!

Funny thing about Gardener that always made me chuckle...

When you say "He's from Gardener," it kinda comes out in a way that gives everyone the impression that; 1) you speak in broken English, 2) they person you are talking about is the bastard son of a hired hand.

Terrible post on my part.

Deiner, his coach, is just another in a long line of Yoder'ites to excel once the horse was back in the barn.

I've got a buddy that watches him and says he's a tremendous QB and he's 6'4" and runs a 4.5 with a great arm. I've heard he hasn't decided yet and we are one of the teams he's interested in, so who knows....I'd love to have him in Purple if he decides he wants to play for Snyder.
