ord or DEN layover?
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Once I flew on a TWA flight on a big f*cking plane with giant TVs and stuff, and big meals.  Not first class though, kinda felt elite though.  This was in the 90s

Basically still the same BS. Spend hours waiting for your flight, then you get in a relatively cramped space for 1-26 hours while your ears pop and you can't see where you're going. Other than having additional space to be miserable in (which is a major bonus), you'll experience the same sensations you otherwise would if you were sitting in coach. NM the fact that you could have driven there in the same amount of time. And had your own transpo when you got there.
"Unless you're a ku fan you don't want to watch a game at the fieldhouse. You'll never see more home cooking in your life. The last game I watched there Larry got the boot and I didn't blame him a bit. Only ball game I've ever walked out on in my life, besides, the facility is a piece of ****."

have flown first class a few times.  from Charlotte to KC on US Air, and from KC to LAX on Midwest Express.  basically it rules.  food, drink, whatever you want, it's there.

will be flying first class to Madrid at Christmas, will be my first international first class experience.  am pumped.

First class rules. Right when you sit down, they will get you a drink while the rubes in back try to find a place to put there bags because they are too cheap to check them.

Next, they will take your order for lunch/dinner with white cloth napkins and glass glasses. Call ahead and get a kosher meal, much better tasting. All the drinks you want without waiting. Be sure to alert the flight attendant if you see someone from the back come up and use your lavatory.  :nono:

After lunch/dinner you will get a hot moist towel to spif up your hands and face, then order a nice latte and relax during the movie.

most likely would notice the general malaise and boredom shown by someone who just isn't impressed with the first class experience, since they do it all. of.  the. time.  this ain't their first rodeo.

Don't really see the point in flying first class unless it's overnight.  Then you get the larger, fully-flat seats to sleep in.  Also, they let you sleep in later than the commoners -- because they have to start serving breakfast sooner to make it through the larger cabin -- which always cracks me up for some reason.

I mean the free champagne and stewardess sex for first-classers is nice, but it's the seats that make the difference, IMO.

Just a thought, but now that Mangino looks to be out of work and have lots of time off, there is a chance he will get a seat next to me on a flight.:fatgino: :ohno:

Flew first class to from San Juan.  Very elite.  drank lots.  Though the pasta and shells entree was not the best.

I would probably just start asking random well-dressed people who walk by, "Excuse me, sir/madam. I'll take that scotch whenever you're ready."
