Well we gain harold and terrell back on D. Add adam davis and the 3 juco DT's we have coming in and logic says a couple of those guys will be decent, but we'll at least have depth along the front line which we did not have at all this season. We return all our secondary and most of our backups. Depending on how good our LB's and new DT's are we could be anywhere from as good as we were this season to a fairly stout D. Offensively looks good. Return 4 of 5 Olineman and add the four freshman who redshirted this season. QB play should at least be more athletic and we should at least get more of a rushing attack from that position. If we get a QB or if its lamur then we could have a very potent WR core and very big. Lamark, Harper, and Smith all 6' 2" - 6' 3" and very athletic. Add T. Thompson for some speed and Hubert and robinson with DT and I think we have a very big, fast, and athletic offense. I say at minimum 7 wins + a bowl next year.

Yeah, I see no reason why/how we'd be worse on 0.

After the Mizzou game, I could've sworn I saw him on the grass parking area in street clothes tailgating.

he was in my section (22) about 6 rows in front of me for the Mizzou game and was still sporting the purp, but was about as non-EMAW as a guy could be.

Didn't quit, didn't get kicked off... Let's just say that he and Snyder are "working some sh*t out".

He says he is coming back! We gain a true year of recruiting from a coach that knows what athletes are worth recruiting. This year resulted in more than what we could expect and we were spoiled in what Snyder did with this team! Next year will be a different story with athletes that can actually play the position the are intended to play. (god bless Gregory's little heart!)

Not playing two OOC games on teh road back to back will help...

Iowa State is going to a bowl for chrissakes. We would too, even with this patchwork roster.

Ulla Pomele is horrid. Houlik has made some strides but our linebacking corp doesn't back anything. omfg they cant' match up with anyone.

Doubt the defense will actually be better next year.  Not after the standard annual good coaches on staff exodus and overhaul.

Lose:  Vic Koenning

Gain:  Give back Cosh full time duty and revert to 04, 05 form.

I've got about as much faith in Snyder having the ability to retain a cohesive staff as I do in his ability to recruit a quarterback.

If Old Balls' twilight years have taught us anything by now it's that there will turnover and it will involve the best parts of our staff making lateral moves.

VK didn't even move his family up here from what I've heard.

Because of the schedule flip flopping we could easily have an improved team next year but finish with the same record.

I doubt we lost Vic. I doubt we lose much at all. I think he's competing for a HC job. I don't know how else you get Clemson's D Coordinator to come to K-State at the bottom of the Big 12 and share the job with another guy.

All Rise... The Judge is in the house.
I am really excited about our offensive line for next year. Our offensive line has been a very big surprise all year and they did an amazing job last night against one of the better d-lines in the country. We only lose Stringer off the line and the ones that return gain another year of expierience and strength in the system. Now hopefully we find a pretty good QB to put behind them...

I agree. I am really excited for those 4 high school kids we have who all redshirted this year. And the #5 overall Juco prospect in the nation, John Cullen, who is rated just ahead of Cam Newton, he's a OL that has us in his top 4. I have heard the student section crap about BH and every time someone posts that someone always says, he is still on the team. I have heard it from people who are reliable that he hasn't quit.

Kassonavoid quit the team, so there's one less DL returning.  Apparently he has 99 problems and a bitch IS one.
