I'd say Golden Corral or Bob Evans.

Might the turnpike authority have an opening at that new tollbooth at Tonganoxie?  They'd probably have to build it around him and widen the road, though.

“Nobody plays harder than Kansas State.  Bilas said that to me in person,” Martin said. Now, does that mean that I’m happy every day?  No, because it’s our job to continue to get those guys to continue to grow.”

Probably just take it easy for awhile.  Hang out on the couch, watch daytime TV, drink some beers, maybe work on growing another chin or three.  You know, what most guys do when they lose their jobs.

If he grows another chin, it'll snap his neck.

If he works there, he gets a discount, right?  Mangino would rape Golden Corral very similarly to how Ronny raped us on that deal.

I think he'll coach as an assistant, if he chooses to do so.   Probably not D1.   SuperG and I were talking about this earlier tonight.

I see him as a Larry Eustachy type.  Damaged goods, that can begin again at an out-of-the-way location.

Mary Jane, if she's smart, will give the bastard a reason to keep earning a paycheck while he has a ticking heart.

    The very best.
KSU sidelines w/coach Snyd's.

Like the DoD days. Venzy comes home soon, as well.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I would say it would be worth the hire if he brought some of their better recruits, but I don't see many kids following him with all of the negative rumors floating around.

That's kinda the ultimate "frack you" to uk.  It's like, we'll take your head coach, but he's only good enough to be a position coach or something like that for us.

The next season of The Biggest Loser.

Jillian will be yelling at him and he will try to assault her, only to get his fat ass handed to him.

Yeah; this is a swell idea.  A guy that's loyal to a fault (Snyds) is going bring in the guy that tried to kill his program.

+1.  That guy has an eye for talent that most other coaches just don't see.  Would LOVE to have him back at K-State and stick it in ku's eye when they rebuild.  Don't know if Bill would want him back, though.

    I survived the Dickey/Parrish era.
I want him back in Manhattan, but only as the doorman at Auntie Mae's.  Getting past him would be impossible, but watching him waddle down the stairs to get yet another glass of ice water would be classic.

Nope. Snyder is a pretty honorable dude; can't see him wanting someone who can't even fracking spell trust or loyalty. Plus the Manginosaur's got major ego and anger issues and could use a large humility lesson.  I kinda like the idea of him on Biggest Loser just to watch Jillian whup his ass while being all up in his face 24/7.

Do fired coaches qualify for unemployment? Do they have to go check in with everyone else?  Don't you get a percentage of your former earnings??? Frack they keep extending the benefit times, how long would the gov't pay out at his pay range?

Usually, the buyout covers the unemployment.  With my former company, Sprint, there was severance pay and you could draw unemployment (I retired and am getting severance, then pension when the severance is up and I didn't try to claim unemployment).  However, terminating with cause, usually disavows any unemployment.  Or at least I think it would.
