Sucks his mom got involved.  Though we stopped recruiting him a while ago sucks to see him go to Mizzou.  Looks like Anderson is putting together a good class.  Didn't think he could do it.  Now he knows he has an in.  "Go after dudes who's moms want them to play for black dudes."

it kinda depends on what you want to believe.

story a:  frank meets recruit, recruit likes frank, frank likes recruit, recruit verbals, mom who isn't very involved in recruit's life suddenly gets involved and wants 150K, frank backs off.

story b:  frank got outrecruited (again) for a recruit.

frank also set him up at a qualifying farm in Miami.  Has a lot to do w/ the mom hating him.  Him leaving said qualifying farm could significantly impact him not qualifying.

also, while no one is every going to go on record with the money part, and hence will always remain just a rumor, the mom developing a previously undemonstrated interest in mitchell's life is verifiable (and verified).
