when the Huskers score on ku's team and the pro-Husker crowd cheers twice as loud as the home team in the event they actually make a play.... that things will never get better for them in football. Not with this coach and staff. Think how unbelievably degrading that is going to be.

And it's absolutely beautiful that Mangino probably won't get fired for another 3 years because they "won the Orange Bowl" even though they didn't belong there.

I can't wait to watch this game just for the comedic value of seeing more NU fans in the stands than uk

It's cute that you think NU is able to score a touchdown against anybody this year.

    The very best.
f*ck nebraska.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Not concerned about this game.  Would like NU to win to make our victory in Lincoln that much sweeter.  Sweep the north.

d00ds, I really do think that uk will beat nubb in Larrytown... not a blow out, but I think that Sparkles will play like a different woman tomorrow. Nubb cant score on anyone and that is going to bite them in the ass on this one and it might bite them in the ass in Boulder.

I get the logic, they cannot score... yadda yadda yadda.  But think about it some more.  Suh and Crick  against a pass oriented offense with a shatty line.  That will easily yeaild 3-5 to's.  Get points off of 2, a field goal on your own... I'm going to say nubs by 3.

I still want my cooler, bitches!

Mangino will find a way to beat Missouri.  That's really all he needs to calm the fans down at this point; do that and get the bowl trip and he'll be fine.  In fact, I won't be shocked if the Jayhawks win their last two.  ku fans will quickly forget about the losing streak and loss to K-State and Mangino will be more than safe at ku.

And a few ku football fans will go pull out their Orange Bowl t-shirts and give a crap for a day.

The old guys don't have to think, they know what it feels like.  Remember the 70's and 80's.

This. Think about all of the ku fans that call in to 810, a vast majority of them openly admit they only care about beating us and Mizzou.  Plus, they'd be dumb to fire him.  He got a freak of a player in Reesing but you can't build your entire program around a 5 ft 9 qb that weighs 175.  Reesing is the reason they are where they are but the real test comes next year when Mangino has a more traditional style qb that fits into his system. They could actually be better w/out Reesing, imo, 'cause they wont have to rely solely on an unorganized, scramble first type offense.  Their 15 mins of fame have come and are basically gone but I see Mangino doing well enough to keep his job for at least 5 more years.
