2 both outright 34 & 03, so 6 years since the last one but at least it has not been 41 years since a shared title or 79 years since an outright title. Just an observation as to how irrelavent ku has been in football since, well forever

Just an observation as to how irrelavent ku has been in football since, well forever what's sad is that you can't see that KSU is right up there in terms of irrelevance. I can tell you were not a KSU fan before 1993. Maybe you should take a look at ku's overall record and then KSU's. I won't even post it because most KSU fans understand your past. Remember the past as to avoid repeating it. You forgot the past and you hired Ron Prince. I don't think you want that to happen again.
BMW is gone and won't be back for a while. Expect him to bandwagon up in the basketball board pretty soon though.
First KSU football game I remember attending was in 1966. I grew up in Manhattan and graduated from KSU with a BS in 1984 so yes I have been though ups and downs with KSU's football more down years than good but at least I have witnessed the program have sustained success win a conference title, and play for two others in the past 15 years or so. My entire point of this thread was how crappy ku has ALWAYS been in football. The way you ku fans always talk smack I really thought ku probably had more success in the past until I decided to look up your past football history. Keep talking smack about us j@yh@wks but o-fer 41 on shared conference titles and o-fer 79 for an outright title is beyond embarassing and gives you very little room to talk smack about ANYBODY else's football program's past history. I guess its good for you basketball season starts soon.

You guys claiming a DoD without winning anything other than one conf championship. How many times did you guys play for a NC during that run? what? not a single time? crazy. yeah i know ku hasn't been that good at football. But minus 11 years, you guys have been just as bad if not more. It's great that because of your recent success you were able to get a great coach after your legend left. Oh, what? that didn't happen? Well at least you guys are recruiting better talent because of your recent success right? No? hmm. you've been BAD for 6 years and now you have a chance to win one of the weakest North Divisions ever, in a year you lost to LaLa. Congrats. I bet you guys aren't even dancing in Dallas this year as Nub wins the north. I bet you also don't want to talk about how the schedule set you up to be where you are this year? Sure, talk about ku and the schedule of 2007, but you don't see it for yourself and 2009. you wanna talk recent sucess? ku has been to two straight bowl games and is probably heading to a third in a row, while you guys are looking for your first since you won the B12CG, 6 years ago now.
We kicked ku's ass as recently as this weekend. And your recruiting is a disaster. Those are our tailights you see in the distance. I wouldn't book any bowl trips yet. Your best team ever is collapsing under weight of false expectations and bad fans.

No, I did. Two times the amount that you have. See, that was easy.

Just don't lose to moo this weekend, i can already see the meltdown. I can't argue about the fans though. Our best team ever is yet to arrive. Will it be next year when we switch back to the south schedule of OSU, aTm, and Baylor? You guys still have to win one more game to get bowl eligible. And you know both moo and nub can beat you guys.

You'll be lucky to get to 2-6 in the league this season which is what you'll need to make a bowl. LOL at going 2-6 in your conference and bragging about making a bowl game.
while i now know you get your facts from Wiki, let me set the scene for you that you won't find in a 3 sentence paragraph from wiki. There was no BCS in 1968-9, the bowls took from the same conference every year. ku was ranked 3 going into that game, a win over Penn and a loss by OSU would have probably put ku #1 in the polls. At least that is what the media from that time claims. Joe Pa, calls that game against ku the game that put them on the map. Sorry you don't understand much about the history of the game before 1993. The best thing about that team was they were mostly kansas boys.
Yeah, you've got that wrong. Penn State was #3 going into the game.AP Poll from 12/2/68#1 Ohio State#2 USC#3 PSU#4 Georgia#5 Texas#6 ku
