    Hey, basketball!!!
If Grant got that block on Stuckey then Brandon is gone, the entire ku defense was looking and running to the other side of the field. Great play by Stuckey though making that stop because like I said earlier, that guy is a total beast. I actually feel sorry for him that he has to play on such a pathetic defense.

And man, what else can Snyd's pull out of his book of tricks...?? :billypopcorn:

    Wait...what?
Pretty sure it was just a plain old reverse, but you're right:  it was one block away from being a score.

Sproles would have never let that hit keep him from scoring.  Banks needs to learn not to be such a puss.  Just saying.... :steadymobbin':
Here's hoping that Clams is chillin' with someone cool up in that big EMAW in the sky. RIP Clams, RIP.

It was a double reverse. Attrail got it first then pitched it back to Brandon...

And Brandon wasn't a pussy on that one long play he had where it was called back for the supposed "chop block" on Kendall (terrible call BTW). Brandon really threw himself into some defenders for the extra five yards or so.

That makes it a reverse.  The play begins with an end-around (hand-off to the first player moving parallel to the line of scrimmage).  The reverse occurs when a player going the other way is given the ball by the player who received the hand-off, thereby "reversing" the direction of the ball.

Announcers screw it up all the time.  Today on the Chiefs game, there was a handoff for a counter run (which, admittedly, involved some nontypical motion and a fake, but remained only a counter) that the announcer called a reverse.  Announcers just never seem to sit down and learn the actual mechanics of that particular concept, although every now and then a color commentator will correct them.
