disgusting.  He is the only reason ku got 2nd place in the north a few years back.

I feel bad for you Todd.  You may have a bit of an alcohol problem but you seem like a decent dude who tries hard.

Time to show Todd some love ku fans.

    Hey, basketball!!!
Can't wait until he leaves and they are all like, "Why in the frack did we turn on him? He was our Brett Favre/John Elway (if you will)."

Back to mediocrity ku... :steadymobbin':

I totally agree.  Disgusting people.

I wish ku fans were more forgiving.  Use this photo of the parking lot attendant in the P&L district as your inspiration....sure, Todd was passed out in the parking garage, but this parking lot attendant still found it in his heart to treat Todd like a human being.

"back"?

They never left.

But I do see why some ku fans are hammering Reesing.  His soft excuse of "having an injured groin since Colorado game" is the kind of wuss stuff the Chiefs do.  Make up an injury to explain a loss.

I wonder if Ben has turned on Todd?  Will ben only start posting here again if they sneak out a win in Manhattan?

QFT.  Look at the smile on the attendant's face as he accepts Todd and his shortcomings.

The way Mangino and ku fans have turned on Todd since his recently revealed injury is kind of nasty.

Kind of sad to see Mangino turn on him too.  That circus freak would be back working in a toll both if it wasn't for Reesing.

Ugh.  Neighbor who is a huge ku fan has a #5 ku jersey hanging from a noose in his yard.

University of Kansas fans really hate Todd Reesing.

Quote
“The last two performances we put up have just been terrible, honestly,” Briscoe said. “We’ve just got to bounce back. We’ve got a big game against K-State next week.”

Briscoe said he was “clueless” as to why Reesing was removed from the game and “very surprised” at his poor performance.

“As receivers, we didn’t help him out much with the dropped passes we had, which is something we don’t do often,” Briscoe said. “It’s part on us and part on the O-line as well.”

Largely, it’s on Reesing’s injured groin. He’s playing hurt.

Seriously though, your heart really has to go out to the kid.

As if Todd's body being burned in effigy last night by a bunch of ku fans on the Plaza wasn't enough.........

Now, there's an Official Bench Reesing thread five pages deep over on phog.

Remember Rocky 3 when Balboa is beating all these bums and reading the press clippings about how great he is and what a hero he is.  Then he fights Clubber Lang and gets destroyed because he lost the fire?

That is where Todd Reesing is now.

It's a god damn tragedy the way this kid is being treated.  Just you wait...that SOB Mangino is going to roll Todd out there next week on his injured groin and Fitzgerald is going to &@#%ing wreck him.  Then, Mangino will yank him without so much as a "Thank You" and never speak to him again.

Holy crap this is going to be ugly.

To be fair, weren't we like this last year with Freeman?   (However, Freeman didn't take KSU to a BCS bowl...)

You bet, name all the times our coach benched Freeman.  TIA

Also, we didn't have any "history [awaiting]."  Kinda a big deal when &@#%ing "history" is on the line, no?

Face it...it all started in the wrong direction when the FB team got all uppity and tried to put the BB team in place....poor Todd just has to take the brunt of all that latent anger since he's the quarterback....

ku, Mizzou and Nebraska last year.  Look, I crap on Freeman as much as the next fan, but it is kind of a similar situation.  However, I do think that ku probably won more games because of Reesing than KSU did because of Freeman.

Ed Cunningham(ABC analyst) was seriously questioning the benching being down only two possesions. Reesing's brainfart fumble was bad, but I was even shocked why fat fella yanked him then. ku is coming to MHK in turmoil, and seriously questioning themselves.  :ohno:   Great timing after last years debacle and the RP firing.

I hope Bill has the chance to poor it on and A&M 'um.

btw, only at ku do they find a QB with a last name "pick". :nahnah:

Freems was sat down in huge blowouts, Reesing got sat in a still competitive game.

My beaker friends already used that famous line "don't worry Pick is better, you just wait and see...he can run and stuff."

Seems like Mangino is doing it all wrong. Every backup at ku is better than the starter.

Fair enough, but ku fans weren't the ones who benched him.  They do seem to fully support the decision though.

He gets off on breaking the spirit of the starters.  It's like he harbors some sort of resentment for the quarterbacks, some kind of jealousy about them becoming bigger than him (obviously I mean that metaphorically).

Is Briscoe next?  Or Meirer?

ku alum who sat next to me in church asked me if I was interested in "another worthless Meier in Manhattan?"

He said the fumble was the biggest error in their season.
