I thought it wouldn't of counted because it was a coaching position.

Good point. OK, substitute Dalonte for Bruce Shingler... Not the same impact, huh? He's apparently the link for Wally Judge, though. Discuss.

this game isn't fun, J-Mart.  please lets not pretend to know how lucky we are.  it's been a really long time bro.   :nono:

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Darn,  KSU was just starting to catch up with all the dirty tricks it takes to be great that ku, UCONN, Duke, NC and others have been doing for decades.

Lew and Calhoun cheated so bad with exhibition teams that the NCAA refers to that section as the UCONN rules.
I guess Lew will be immortalized with another....ku rules.

Most all of these new rules are outlawing tactics that ku has been using for years.  Obviously hiring Chalmers was blalant.  They are also one of the worst about paying AAU coaches to work summer camps.  They paid some AAU coach/street agent out of Chicago a bunch of money to work a camp and he delivered them Sharon Collins.

Dalante was legal even under the new rules for two reasons.
1.  He was hired to a coaching position.
2.  He was Beasley's AAU coach at one time but it had been several years.  He was an assistant at Charlotte when we hired him.

Not sure on Shingler I believe he had an unpaid position at KSU.  Now he's on Beasley's payroll so it's not a problem.

dobo is considered a coaching position, no?

i'd have dumped assaley for shingler in a heartbeat if the new rules would have been in effect.  i'd like to think martin would have done the same.

Remember prior to us finding out how awesome he is when we would have said to dump Underwood?  lol, we were so young then.

You gotta come back to the Heartland.  Rice sucks balls.  KSU set to dominate in both sports in the coming years.  KSU fans stuck with one decent (Meek) beat reporter. :AA:

Never wanted to dump Underwood.  The EMAW has always been strong in him.

I bet Underwood throws up a :steadymobbin': on nearly a daily basis.

Who do you think would win in a break-dance fight between Meek and Manbeck?   Meek strikes me as a guy would be amazing at the "robot."  Probably would be super realistic, and have a really sweet forearm-dangling-from-the-elbow move.  Cole seems like the kind of guy who would go strait into back spins....younger guy, full of vigor...when everyone knows you FINISH with that move.

yeah, meek is prob the better b dancer but i've got a crisp five dollar bill that says manbeck is a better free throw shooter. very deliberate and consistent w/ a shot that looks identical every time i bet.

_FAN that is ridic.

Very 'Slammin (is that good break-dance slang :dunno:).

I kinda feel like we are going to piss Manbeck off if we totally discount his skills, but I can't shake this feeling that Meek maybe a &@#%ing ninja on the cardboard dance floor. Ya know?

You are correct.

All K-State beat-writers should be included:

How bout replace Delonte with Heat boy and his dad at ku, that is one of the deals that the NCAA made the rule for.
