Thank you Howard Richman for confirming what I have been reporting on this site for the last 2 days.

That's right, you heard it first on KSUFans.com.

What, Richman works for GoPowercat?  I thought they had all the breaking news first.  Fitz, say it ain't so!

Jhoax: - regarding getting Walker in school:

Quote
K-State had years of practice getting guys like this eligible under Bill Snyder. He will play if the Clearinghouse doesn't snuff it out

All friom "inside sources" I'm sure.

Last time I checked, it didn't cost $9.95/month to log onto the KC Star's web page.  GPC is a fricking joke.

It's not a matter of getting "someone eligible" he's a high school kid who will likely get through the NCAA clearinghouse as well.

Geezus ... typical Jayhoax ...   This coming from a guy who cheers for academic stalwarts like Brandon "I don't really like school" Rush.

The Hawkpocrisy ... stay back 300 feet.

Nevermind the FACT that Bill Walker is an excellent student and that grades have NEVER been an issue with him at any time.

This is great news for Wildcat fans.  Not only are we going to land a great addition to our basketball team, but our University is getting a very solid student that will represent the University well in terms of academics.  This is truly a great thing for KSU.

I'd say our athletics department/administrators are coming accross as though they know exactly what they're doing, are in complete control, and are taking extra care to follow any rules.  It's almost the exact opposite of ku's people.

I remember there was a game that Mayo sat out last year in which Walker stepped up for his team and scored a cool 51.

Excellent point Shuttle ... I don't believe grades have ever been an issue with Walker ... unlke Brandon "6 years in high school" Rush ... but a guy like Hoax never lets reality get in the way of anything.

KSU's administration has dotted all i's and crossed all t's with this situation.  Compliance is taken seriously at KSU, unlike some other places in the state.

Excellent point Shuttle ... but they're taking compliance seriously now, they promise ... they really, really promise.
