You had plenty of opportunities to get those coaches back.  They were good coaches, and they weren't getting an opportunity with Snyder around.  When Snyder left none of them chose to go back to Manhattan.

Pffft...as if the K-State job was up for any OU coach to take. :hahano:

OU plays for championships.

We don't make it our mission to lose games we should win and win games that we should lose.  In fact, we think that OU should never be an underdog in football.

Hey, it was your guy that complained that OU took away all of the good coaches from KSU.  It sounded like that was the reason OU became good again and KSU fell back to sub-mediocrity.

We know the KSU job wasn't for just anybody to take.  It was only good enough for a coach like Ron Prince.

Oh, congratulations on your 5-3 record against bad teams.

OU has beaten Tulsa, Baylor, Kansas, and Idaho State.

Cangratulations to you on your 4-3 record!

No thank you.  We're not proud of that record.  In fact we're pissed.  We're going to be 5-3 this weekend, and we're still going to be pissed.  It's a wasted season.

The 3 losses were lost by a combined 5 points.  Our offensive coaching staff didn't put the team in a position to win.  We want an overhaul in the offensive coaching staff.

I'll give you this; your offensive coaches have come up with more ways to run bubble screens than I thought were possible.

Holy Crap . . . this kid must be about 12, because I guess he forgot about John Blake and Howard Schnellenberger.

But LOL . . .ou needing K-State coaches to rescue their football program.

LOL.....no kidding.  There has been some bad play calling.

The word on Kevin Wilson is he's pretty arrogant and not a lot of people like him.  I heard that Adrian Peterson hated him.  He had a great year last year when he wasn't facing adversity.  But when an opposing defense steps up to him he goes into the fetal position.  At other times he's so arrogant that he just knows a certain play should work he just keeps running it and running it until it works......which it usually doesn't.

The only slam most of us have on Stoops is he has never fired a coach.  They leave to take head coaching jobs, but not one has been fired.

What in the world are you talking about?  I try every day to forget about Blake and Smellsofbourbon.  I have clearly said that we had a bad decade.

KSU coaches?  Where did you guys get Stoops from?

I believe Bob Stoops was a grad assistant at Iowa when Snyder hired him, maybe a position coach.

But I know your angle, and it's simply not the same thing.

Actually, he went from Iowa to Kent St. to KSU to Florida where he spent 3 years.  KSU was just a small stop on his journey to OU.  He has had plenty of opportunity to leave, but he chose to make it a career at OU.

Is Snyder the same way?

Stoops really needs to clean house in the offensive staff.  A lot of us would like to see Josh Heupel get the OC spot.  You remember Josh Heupel, don't you?   :D  I think by your crazy definitions here, Josh Heupel would not be a rival.

Yeah I suppose if I could win an NC with my predecessor's players and then proceed to lose 5 straight BCS bowls while throwing millions at me.. yeah, I'd stick around too..

What's wrong?  Doesn't KSU have any money to throw around?  Well not anymore since you're subsidizing Ron Prince's life.

How many BCS bowls has KSU seen in the past few years?  How did your last BCS game turn out?

What a looser! LOL You come over on KSU boards and stack sh#t like you think that is somehow going to help your team! In my view that's fear.  Your just trying to make yourself feel better about things! Pretty sad comment about you! LOL  :blahblah: :blahblah: :flush: I think I'll just let the players settle it on the field.

I understand that.  I just threw it out because it was thrown at me.  Many OU fans are a little relieved that there won't be a BCS bowl.......maybe we can win this time.

I'm not saying everything is rosey at OU.  Right now many of us are concerned with the offensive staff.  There were a lot of questions to Stoops after the Miami loss about the conservative play calling.  His response was that their offensive philosophy hasn't changed over the past several years.  Yeah, we know.  Stoops needs to get an offensive coordinator that is going to play to win rather than play to not lose.  My hope is Heupel.

I believe I have it figured out.  The thing is the definition here is completely different from the rest of the football world.

You guys believe that your rivals are Texas (even though you only play them half of the seasons) and USC (even though you've only played them a couple of times with the last time 7 years ago) because you feel like you can beat them.  That's not what the rest of the football world thinks a rivalry is.

ku has a rival in Missouri, and they believe KSU to be a rival.......I guess they're wrong.  But maybe not since your definition of a rivalry is a one sided thing.

Maybe you guys could start up a rivalry with Emporia St.?

That's one of my favorites too.  San Diego has the best weather in the nation and they always serve up a crappy west coast team to beat on.

First off...no you don't.

Second off...I tried to tell you to not think linearly and even when you did you're definitional assumptions only show your bias.

Third off...ku has a rival in Missouri, and they believe KSU to be a rival, poor sentence structure...who considers us a rival ku or MU?  This is actually swerving close to the genesis...but keep trying.
