Dear Abby: What's up with single ply TP in really nice/expensive places?

What's up with places who pay a ton of money for elite equipment, furniture, office location, custom engravings, fancy urinals and sinks and whatnot..

..And then they buy waxy single ply TP.

It's like..Why!?  Why go all out on everything and then skimp where it matters most?  Don't they realize what's important?

Makes me afraid to shake anyones hands in these places.  Even if they wash their hands, it doesn't get them completely clean from that.




Some of the so called 'nicer' restaurants seem to do the same thing.

i've done my best to try and avoid sh*tting at most restaurants I go to.
i guess i don't want the memory of a nice expensive steak I just ate competing with that of the steamer dropped immediately after dinner.  now, don't get me wrong.  both are enjoyable, but each in their own distinct way.
