omg everyting totally fell into place.

I have no idea why in the world we have a one game lead and a tie breaker over ISU but I will take it.

If we can just upset either ku or NU...the Norht is all but ours. Come on Cats. Keep choppin' wood.@

GO STATE@@@@ OMG!!!

imo, despite Bo doing a terrible coaching job, we probably won't win in Lincoln so its down to ku/mu

I am not so sure it would be an upset to beat ku.  (Completely serious.)

how ru so sure? NU's offense is tarded.

We'll see how we do against OU in Norman but I like our chances heading into our home date vs. Kansas. We still have alot to prove imho...but our D played the best out of any North team today. TTEch threw off our perceptions.

will be very curious to see the line on this game
(what would it be, if it was played next week?)

Great question.  I would say ku by 1 or a Push....I would also bet the hell out of ku at that and hope to god I lost money.

This is exactly how i think.  The win-win bet.
Here's hoping that Clams is chillin' with someone cool up in that big EMAW in the sky. RIP Clams, RIP.

I looked at the schedule and my guess is the standings after next week will look like this.

KSU 3-2
nu 2-2
isu 2-3 ( I don't think they follow up w/ their second tough road win in a row)
cu 1-3
mu 1-3
ku 1-3

The next week is a little more murky.  The game vs  :ku: is absolutely HUGE, maybe the biggest game in the north this year.  Win that, and I'd say the standings look like this with 2 games remaining for us (3 for nu, cu, and mu):

KSU 4-2
nu 2-3
cu 2-3 (this is the biggest toss-up--I'm picking loss @aTm)
mu 2-3
isu 2-4
ku 1-4

After that,  handicapping the division:

KSU: drivers seat.  misery and nubb are winnable, but by no means locks.  Win and their in.

nu: A loss @  :ku: or cu would make our game with them irrelevant in the standings.

cu: They have @isu and @osu. No way they win both, maybe neither. Besides, we have the tiebreaker.

isu:  That Lamur blocked XP might be the biggest single play all year. Gives us the tiebreaker, which is what they would need.

ku: By this time, the wheels will have come off, mostly because mangina broke the axles.  @ 1-4, they're out of the picture. Ironically, they could be our biggest asset if they beat nubb and drag the corn to the bottom of the standings with them.  Would make our game with corn irrelevant quite possibly.

Of course we could just go into norman and win and the  :ku: game could clinch the division. :kstatriot: :ksu:

I don't see us winning on the road the rest of the year which makes our home date with Kansas so crucial.

Go 0-3 vs. ou, ku, and nu and you can forget the north title. It'll go to ...um, Iowa State or Nebraska I guess

Go 1-2 vs. those teams with a win over ku or NU and we're North champs imho

I don't think we win on the road either, but the corn game looks a lot more winnable than it did just a couple weeks ago.  But like I say, the other games + our ku game might make that one worth nothing more than bragging rights.
