The other members of the Kansas State coaching family were not surprised when Snyder returned. Notorious for working 17-hour days when coaching, he spent time with his eight grandchildren the past three years but also attended the practices of the other programs on campus."I just went up to him the other day and said, 'Coach, I haven`t seen you at practice. We just finished our fifth day,'" Martin said. "He said, 'Frank, I`m a little busy this year.'"
