What if we do so much happen to take the north? first of all people in the media wouldn't know what to do Mark May would still claim ku is nothing short but godly. But has anyone thought of this yet if somehow we happen to win the North we would match up against Texas in the championship game. and i don't think i have to remind anybody bout our history with Texas but i will anyway since the big 12 play started we are 4-2 vs the longhorns. somehow we always manage to play great against the horns. so what if we beat them? 2010 fiesta bowl here we come? haha not likely but just a thought.

Equally likely is that we go 4 and 8 or 5 and 7.  Lets win a couple more before we enter "what if" land.  We still have just as good of a chance to finishing last in the north as we do first.

Beat CU and MU at home and we are almost certain to be heading to Lincoln with a chance to wrap up the north and become bowl eligible.

Still a pipe dream, but not completely impossible.   :Carl:

We absolutely must win this weekend.

    Hey, basketball!!!
If we want to win the north all we have to do is beat CU, ku, & MU. All at home but tough task. Then we need to have NU, ku, & MU not upset anybody....

Quite frankly, I just feel funny even talking about us winning the North.

Won't happen.  Too many deficiencies for ksu to beat ku, mu, and nu.  Would be surprised if ksu got in dbl digits vs. nu.

Aggs were the softest team I've seen in a while and had no interest in playing.  Those other 3 will def be ready to play vs. the fighting bills. :blank:

QFT. We will have to play some good football in order to get to 6-6 and that's basically all we should ask for this season. The best chances to win two more games this season have to be CU & MU. ku could be close but I don't see the NU & OU games being that way.

    I miss him ^^
If OB goes 5-3 in the conference this year it would be the most incredible thing he's done since he got here.

That being said, I think we win maybe one more game this year......maybe.

I stand by my preseason prediction of 6-6 so I think we win two more...probably CU and ku or MU. We will not win the North but I think we can finish in the top half which would still be pretty amazing.

ku is a very flawed team. Don't understand why everyone is so afraid of ku especially when it's AT HOME. Their offense is great, yeah I get it, but their special teams were giving CU the ball past the 40 half the game, and their defense made Hansen look like Tim Tebow.

Here's a pop quiz question for everyone here: When was the last time ku defeated a Bill Snyder coached team in Manhattan?

When was the last time Mizzou defeated a Bill Snyder coached team in Manhattan?

I just want to remind people that a 6-6 record will not make us bowl eligible.

That being said, I think we might win 1 more game and finish the year at 5-7.  T A&M is just terrible.

If we win 2 games we probably go into Lincoln with a chance to lock up the north.  That game would be our biggest game since the 2003 CCG.  Nebraska has only won the north once in the last 9 years so it would be huge for them too.

If we don't win, then fine, but just give us one big exciting game with something on the line.  It's been way too long.

I know, got a b ad feeling that the additional FCS opponent we played is going to come back to haunt us. If 6-6 happens, that will be the fourth time in the last five seasons we'll end up missing a bowl by one game. Talk about a kick in the balls. :frown:
