Catdom:
We were all pleased with the win saturday. It was one of the most shockingly enjoyable Kansas State football games of all-time, however LaMark Brown is one of the most under-utilized players in the history of college football. Never has a player with as much talent played so much and touched the ball so little.
Now, before we criticize anyone too heavily, we understand that maybe, just maybe, he is cloaked in secret weapon mode. However due to events of earlier this season, that scenario must rely on the prospect of a mind of such genius and foresight that we as fans cannot even begin to comprehend why decisions are being made and trust that it will all work out in the end.
However, his case is as follows,
He has proven, without a shadow of a doubt, (A) that he can, in fact, wrap his hands around the ball and secure it, without dropping it.
And
(B) That when the ball is in his hands it is difficult for a single defender to bring him to the ground for a tackle.
So, for the good of our collegiate football team and looking towards the hope of playing in an end of the year bowl game, we politely ask, with all our hearts, for ever and ever, please do your best to ensure that he receives the ball multiple times per game; please specifically call plays for him that involve him containing the ball in a manner that will allow him to run with it in the open field; and please allow him the freedom to do what his heart utmost desires: to destroy his opponents.
