Shooting around: MU's scrimmage at Kansas State is scheduled for Oct. 29. The Golden Eagles will fly in and out the same day for the workout, which will replace one of their exhibition games . . .

Is this common? Seems strange to fly to a place for a scrimmage.

They will come here next week and next year KSU will fly up there to scrimmage. Marquettes coach wanted to have his team play against a defense as strong as K-State's. Obviously he feels we will be a very tough defense to play against. The benefit for KSU is the advantage of getting practice against a top 25 team.
