Cosh's Junior years stats:
Passing: 293/449 65.3% completed 3892 yds 56 TDs 12 Ints
Rushing: 66 carries 194 yards
Those number of Cosh's are part of the numerous state passing records he set last year at Arundel High. He set a new MD Career TD passing record last Fri night after 19 games. Still maybe 8 games to go. Was 16 of 19 for Seven TDs in the first 14 1/2 minutes of the game last Fri. Hits his receiver going full speed in the hands.
Rushing Passing
Year Att Yds TD PA PC Yds TD Int
2005 (Sr.) - 756 8 - - 3,343 41 5
2004 (Jr.) 76 350 5 296 195 3,150 29 8
I pulled the above stats from Rivals database...not sure why they don't have completion info...but they are Todd Reesing's stats. But they did say this in a mid-season article
Through five games, he's completed 75 percent of his passes and thrown for 1,325 yards and 20 touchdowns. Probably the most impressive stat though is that he's not thrown an interception in 110 passing attempts.
Clearly, Cosh put up much better numbers as a junior. However, I will NEVER, and I mean NEVER frackING EVER believe that Maryland football is even a shadow of Texas 4A football in a big Metro area.
The best thing that can be said for Cosh is that Skip Holtz and Rich Brooks wanted him.....as a depth. uk has another 3* QB in the 2010 class, a 3* and a 4* in the 2009 class. E. Carolina has three freshman QB's on the roster this year, and another QB in the 2010 class.
