I love swords and other classic weaponry, particularly Japanese and other SE Asian stuff. Fascinated with Japan and SE Asia in general, culture past and present and whatnot. Would love to get a bunch of stuff to decorate my room with like swords on the wall, and those little bamboo tubes that fill with water until they lower enough to dump it out, then fill up again. Maybe a little bonsai tree or something.

I also love crazy old English accents and dialects. I'd like to marry a woman from Cockney just so I could always listen to her say stuff all the time, and just be like "" 24/7.

Uncommon interests of mine:
the Cello
wool rug hooking

I'm into a bunch of common things:
skiing-down and water
cooking/baking
photography
KSU sports
travel and finding deals
finding cheap gas

the cello is my fav. instrument to listen to. FYI.

1.  RPN (Reverse Polish Notation) Calculators.  Hewlett Packard and otherwise.  I have some Soviet RPN Calulators as well as Novus, National Semiconductor and Omron models.  These interest me because I'm an engineer and fulltime geek.

I cannot use non-RPN calculators anymore...:nerd:

Once you RPN...

I thought you were still using slide rules!

Have used one, but graduated to red LED's:

I love the smell of peat in the evening.  That smell, you know that earthy smell...  Smells like...whisky !

i travel w. my own knives, hate using bad ones

Man, this is pretty elite.  Like fancy real timey chef stuff.

Sys, you are not the top chef.  Please pack your knives and go.

If we had a special knife thread I would definitely post in it.

Ink pens.  Always looking for new/better ones. Writing with the perfect pen is an amazing feeling.

1. Meatball sammiches.  I think lots of folks like these, but I really like them.  We're talking Chipotle-levels of love here.  :lick:
2. Food shows.  Just recently got into these, but am now an addict.  Top Chef, Kitchen Nightmares and Man vs. Food are my favorites.
3. Philosophy.  Would have put down mythology, but couple of others had that one.  :nerd:
4. Comics.  I don't even read/collect them, but I love comic book movies and the whole building of a universe that goes into them.  I think we need MORE comic book movies, not less, and superheroes are basically just endlessly fascinating to me. :batman:

Severe weather. Love it. I have a recurring dream where I'm always out chasing some tornado. F*cking love when I have that dream.

great thread. will have ample time to "attack" this 2mar's afternoon.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Wow.  This thread makes me feel really shallow.

I majored in Philosophy, so I got kinda burned out on reading it.  I enjoy talking about it, but no longer enjoy reading it.

I like bullcrapting with people.  Typically while under the influence.

I really enjoy spectacles/events.  The more &@#%ed up the better.

Dude, I just got four bat houses to hang in my back yard.  Add bats to my list as well, but not deserts...I have no sweat-tooth at all.

How old is she? Still got her number?  :fatty:

Awesome to hear it's as amazing as I thought it would be. Might have to make a trip to the Motherland and find me a woman one of these years.

You should go to Vegas for the UNLV game.  TONS of EMAW from this board going.

Cool.  (not sure how recent "just" is, but you probably won't get any bats in them until the spring now)

I should have also put tropical rain-forests on my list.  I definitely have the sweat-tooth.

You have the "zone" heating or something?  Or, do you have an elite lake house or "getaway" property?

One for the upstairs, one for the downstairs.  At first, it seemed pretty cool.  Then I realized that they entailed twice as many repair bills, so I learned to fix them on my own.
