how much would you give to KSU?  The $100 Million is after taxes and a lump sum.

Great thread.

I would honestly say that I would set up a trust that would give $10-20 million with $2-5 million as an immediate up front payment.  Let the rest accrue intrest for a minimum of 10 years, then have scheduled payouts without wiping out the capital. Then again, I would expect a ton of crap in return, like ridiculous amounts of access + perks.  I would want to be Buddy from Friday Night Lights, except with Ksu football/basketball wildkhatz.

It is really hard to say.  I would probably do something like this:

$2-3 million immediately spend

$20 million to K-State trust

The rest I would set up in a trust with 80% in treasury notes and muni bonds and then 10% in Euros + Pounds + Yen and 10% in a diversified moderate to aggressive growth portfolio

Would have family, friends and charities as beneficiaries.  You can take money out of the trust, right?  Would def take some out.  Live off portion of the intrest etc.

    I'm with Coco.
I'd set up a trust fund for paying youngster recruits. Maybe $1 mill. I'd then set up a trust fund to pay $7 mill a year to any coaching staff we wanted.

As much as it took to get Urban Meyer to leave Florida and stay at KSU for at least 10 years.  Would consider giving the entire $100M for this.

I would
A)  rent buy a Zeppelin and circle the stadium/parking lot while showering the crowd below with gold coins every game day

B)  Attach robotic wings (or a jet-pack) to a wildcat and train him to fly around the stadium for pregame

C)  Replace the marching band with a 50 person German Synth-Pop band.

D)  I would split the remaining money 75/25 between the Physics Dept and the Athletic Dept.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I would:

1.) Pay $15 million for to sit next to me at all football games for me to look at.

2.) $5 million for me to personally once a week fly MHK - DFW - to a new destination every time (when you have over 500 possible different destinations, you can't go wrong  :AA:).

3.) Pay $30 million for a roller coaster ride from my house to OOD. Makes the trip that much more fun.

4.) Pay whatever amount of money for CatMatt and Husker Pride to fight at midfield before every game.  :woot:

how much would you give to KSU?  The $100 Million is after taxes and a lump sum.

All of it to the foundation on the following conditions:

I was given lifetime tickets to all KSU sporting events
I was appointed a director of the foundation until I was at least 70 with an annual directors fee of $150,000 with annual inflation adjustments.
Since this deduction would be tax exempt, my after tax payment would be greater than $100 mil so I would use that difference for immediate spending, investment for retirement and taking care of my kids.

Sure, it sounds good in theory, but you know those closet cases would just end up making out every week.  No thanks, I don't want to see CatMatt get to third base with that Husker Douche.

Probably like $4M-$5M a year...but I'd obviously want some control over how the money is spent.  Unfortunately my ideas would probably suck, so I'd take another $2M-$3M and start up a giant Katpak'r organization (to take the Catbackers down). I'd be like 'chairman' or whatever but I'd pay Pete and LSOC or someone a couple hundred grand to run it and organize meetings and stuff.  Then the Katpack'rs could decide how the money was spent (uni's, buyouts of sh*tty coaches, b-ball facilities, etc).

Oh, and I'd want to be like Mark Cuban and be on the sidelines/bench for all football and hoops games and do/say stupid stuff to piss off all the old people.
Wondering who is running this hot dog stand and seriously considering heading out for tacos.

I'd give enough money to pay Prince off right away.  I'd let him enjoy it for like 2 days.  Then, I'd pay like a mil to have someone kidnap him, beat the crap out of him and probably off him. I'd make sure that they would throw him in some rotted out coke den surrounded by the nastiest whores and coke blowers so it looked like he was dumb and couldn't handle the money.  These guys would be the best, all covert and crap so it couldn't be tracked back to me or KSU.  Then, I'd buy season tickets to the bball and fball games.  Maybe volleyball?
Here's hoping that Clams is chillin' with someone cool up in that big EMAW in the sky. RIP Clams, RIP.

First, I'd buy all current users (excepting ku and nubb fans) a one year sub to Premium Membership at KSUFans.com.  Heck, I'd buy TP out, but let him stay on to keep doing what he is doing and make sure he could quit his day job.  Note, that I'm only keeping MJ on as long as he adds value... :nahnah:  Oh, and I'd buy all you folks who had Premium before the coolers MJ promised you.  :dancin:

Second, I'd make sure Weird Robert always had a limo, private airplane, etc. to make it to all 'Cat games in style.  The limo would have serious tailgating supplies, so that Robert would not have to worry about going around to tailgates and get food.  Of course he would still do that, but...

Third, I'd make sure we had a solid Athletic Department with good pay to lure and retain quality coaches.  They would have to perform (coach, recruit, etc.).  This board would determine the performance ratings...

It's fun to dream, isn't it ?
