I see no evidence that K-State's offense is any better than UTEP's.

Fortunately Mark Mangino is too good a man to hold grudges and will probably call of the dogs late in a gesture of respect to his former boss and Kansas State University.

 :lick:

"Too good a man."  Ha, ha, that's a good one!  Just what every K-Stater thinks of Mangino, the "good man" who contacted KSU recruits to go to OU when he took the job with "Big Game" Bob.

I was at the '02 game, and Snyder put in the THIRD string in the second half--way more than calling off the dogs.  Have to tell you it was fun to see your crop of "fans" slinking out of the stadium in THE FIRST HALF.  Awesome to watch a safety on the 2nd play from the lne of scrimmage.

ku may beat KSU this year, but it won't be a re-run of the pu$$y trot I witnessed in Lawrence in '02.

I guess you forgot the fact that Snyder put the first string D back in to perserve the shut out.  Nice selective memory.  BTW, you also forgot the beating handed out last year.  What was it, 38-0 at half?  Mangino could have named the score had he chosen to do so.

Funny thing is, Terry Pierce seems to have a different recollection of that game.  But what would he know?  It's not like he was one that first string D or anything...

Karma is a bitch.

If ku doesn't win by 65-0, then it will be a meaningless win.

56-3 would bring out the Wildcat Walk by the 3rd quarter, IMO.

Went over your head again.

It's the magnitude of the victory.  KSU holds that.

We score, we keep it there until DOD2.0 is complete and we top it.

For you, anything else, is a meaningless moral victory.

You hold onto your memories of '02.  The Old Balls experiment will fail just like it did last time when he went 4-7 and 5-6 in back-to-back seasons.

It's in the record books.  I'm pretty sure it will still be there when you're dead too.

I was there as well, and I thought it was the 1st play from scrimmage?  No?
I'd much rather have a 69 year old coach than one that weighs 400+ pounds.

04 and 05 were experiments??

Yeah, good thing Weiser decided to go out on a limb and not fire Snyder after his Big XII Championship-winning '03 campaign.

That Weiser always did like to experiment and think outside the box...

    The very best.
Mangino was 2-6, 3-5 during 04/05.

Snyder was 2-6, 2-6.

The next year ron f*cking prince finished above mangino.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Great thread.  ku will probably give up a few points, though.  I'm thinking along the lines of 56-10.

Don't get too exited.  The longer we put this off, the harder it's going to come back and bite us in the ass later.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.
