So at halftime saturday I spotted him with others (Russell Hendriquez etc) as he was buying some nachos. I said whats up and had a quick hand shake. My god is that mans hands soft, I was truly amazed. Can't imagine how much lotion that d00d uses.

sounds amazing. wish i can snag a feel.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Great report Scott. Can't wait for bball season, especially since we will suck in football.  :ksu:

 :ksu:

good to see another ksu bball fan, friend.   the combo fans are ok, but they aren't truly emaw like we are.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

I remember Pullenīs hands, dribbling 'til they bled.
Sacrificed unselfishly, just to keep my EMAW fed.
If I could do things over, Iīd live my life again.
And never take for granted the love in Pullenīs hands.

Pullen's hands were soft and kind when I was crying.
Pullen's hands were hard as steel when I'd done wrong.
Pullen's hands weren't always gentle, but I've come to understand.....
There was always love in Pullen's hands.

(Sorry, maybe somebody can help create more EMAW lyrics.)

This.

This thread was weird to begin with. It has hit a whole new level.
I walk out of that tunnel in this building and the passion of our fans, just gets me going. I mean just gives me an adrenaline rush that you guys just don't understand. - Frank Martin

    I survived the Dickey/Parrish era.
Worked on it a little more this morning.  Let me know what you think:

I remember Pullenīs hands, dribbling up the court with care.
And reaching out to steal the ball, when I had a nightmare.
You could read quite a story, in the callouses and lines.
Years of work and worry had left their mark behind.
I remember Pullenīs hands, how they held that ball so tight,
And Martin yelling in his face, for something not done right.
There are things that Iīve forgotten, that I loved about the man,
But Iīll always remember the magic in Pullenīs hands.

I remember Pullenīs hands, dribbling 'til they bled.
Sacrificed unselfishly, just to keep my EMAW fed.
If I could do things over, Iīd live my life again.
And never take for granted the magic in Pullenīs hands.

Pullen's hands were soft and kind when I grabbed them.
Pullen's hands were hard as steel when he bricked a three.
Pullen's hands weren't always accurate, but I've come to understand.....
There was always magic in Pullen's hands.

It is posts like this that find their way to other boards and NO good can come to our university, our teams, and our fans by putting this crap out there.  There comes a time in a man's life that he needs to learn to shut up, repress thoughts that should be repressed, and leave "creativity" in the hands of professionals.

Can we get this thread deleted (or just specific posts)?

Yeah, well it's just that I got to meet Holly Dunn one time and get her autograph, so there's always been a special place in my heart for her one-hit-wonder song.
