AC is great.  I make fun of people that are all sweaty and miserable but take a sense of pride in not turning their AC on until it gets to be 90 degrees or so.  At the sd household the AC comes on when it hits a blistering 75 outside.  The inside of our house is 74 degrees at all times.  Electric bill?  $46 a month.

No AC's in Colorado, but we don't really need them. But yes, in KS, AC's are heaven.

lollers at ac nitpickers.  "would rather save $10 and be soulcrushed by hot weather"

i leave ac on when i leave my apartment, so it is cold when i get back in.

I wait as long as possible to turn my ac on, but once its on, its on.  Now we get some nice days like today I like opening windows.  At least I did until I married someone with allergies.

Mrs jthutch has a chronic problem with playing or adjusting as you will with the thermostat I have threatened to put a lock on the thermostat but never followed through.  I like to put it at about 74 and just leave it, don't touch it, leave it alone!  But if I'm gone sometimes I will get home and it is at 69/70 and sometimes I will get home and it will be at 80/81.  And them I'm all  :curse:  :curse: And then she yells at me when the electric bill comes in at $330 in July.  Congrats on the $9/month SD very nice.  Our house is old and has the original heater, and the A/C is about 25 years old.  Needs replaced but still blows cold air so waiting till we can really afford a good one.

have you seen them? You have no chance. They are just unreal.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I can't even imagine the eliteness of the NYC'Pak.  I may be intimidated....ME!, steve dave for f^ck sakes, may be intimidated by it's eliteness.  GOSP, plan out a two day (three night) NYC'Pak agenda and post it here so we can know what to expect when we actually pull this off.
