Learned this is some business class I took.  We came in and there was a banana on everyone's desk and he told all of us to start peeling at the same time, not one of us did it any different that the old fashioned stem tear, so he takes his and shows us the monkey method.  I think we were supposed to learn about paradigm shifts and thinking outside the box or something.
