This makes perfect sense, because we are actually STILL listening to Powercat Illustrated on this stuff.

At this juncture literally everything they say or do should be questioned until it is confirmed by credible 3rd parties.

They've gone the road and actually exceeded the fanboy nature of Husker Illustrated and JayhawkSlanttards . . . something I didn't think was possible.

This came from Jerry Meyer, not PI.  Mitchell's gonzo.  On to the next guy.

But did PI not pretty much paint a picture that Mitchell was a lock for K-State??

tables have turned bitches

How so . . . your logic dictates that a commitment changing his mind months before the early signing period is "tables turning"??

LOL . . . there's that UMKC education shining through.

Gotcha.  However,  can't blame PI for this one.... Mitchell's AAU coach.... maybe.

Pretty much makes Mitchell a lock for four star status.

I'll try to call him for a comment.

I know!  I can't decide if that makes the news more disappointing or less disappointing.  I'm leaning to "more disappointing".  Seriously, why couldn't Frank have gone to Miami?

On the bright side, this will help prepare us for DeMarcus Robinson's inevitable de-commitment.

What's truly sad is he never really "blew up".  he just got a minor mention at an all-star camp.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

makes it awesome-r.  maybe the staff is taking the "every other year" recruiting approach.  will f'ing spradling is our only '10 commitment.  hopefully he doesn't blow up and decide to go to UNLV.

Yes, Second stage of mourning already!  The first "I only want players at KSU that want to be here" thread on GPC has arrived!  It has all of the markings of second stage.

Mentions "doesn't fit the K-State family"?  CHECK!
Mentions "prima donna"?  CHECK!

Even gets extra credit for mentioning that he hopes his mother reads the GPC premium board and sees the post!  Reminds me of the well wishes given on the GPC premium board to Kay Yow's family on her passing.  Let's hope they didn't let their membership lapse!

Is it possible that Mitchell's mom will visit the campus, staff, and facilities to see what it is like instead of just assuming it sucks without even seeing it at all?

I also like the references to "greed" and bad parenting. We seem well ahead of schedule on this one.

So, Tony gets invited to an elite skills camp full of a lot of basketball media types and high profile kids with a lot of “handlers” doing a lot of chirping.

And now the right people are talking to momma and she is seeing that she can get A LOT more out of this game with Tony on the market.

Look, poor people can freak out when they see the potential to get into a lot of cash.  It happens.

I can’t say I’m really surprised, but, you do kind of have to LOL at how ridiculously blatant the comments are.

Good luck, Tony.  We want players that want to be here.  Plus you always seemed like a prima donna, so you can take your long arms and go elsewhere.

a large % of ksu fans apparently consider decommitting from ksu to be "blowing up".

i dunno, he was a commit that was getting mentioned (flatteringly) in various summer reports.  can't say the same thing for the other '10 commit.  regardless of the level of exposure, he was 1 of 2 commits in a recruiting class that was struggling to reach a MVC-like level and is now at a Sun Belt level, with no real "prospects" out there.
