Not to rain on the ku fans parade, but the Mets had this idea first...

The Mets installed them prior to their '07 season and they were such a hit that year that this happened....

New Idea: Charge joggers for the chance to run around the track during a game...$2.95 per lap.

Has anyone looked up some of the past winners of this "award"?  Pretty lame.

2004 : Cal - Best New Revenue Generating Idea -- for the creation of the BlueZone and GoldZone inside Memorial Stadium.  (seriously....that's called a student section)

Unknown year: Michigan - The gold medal-winning Best New Revenue Generating Idea was the sale of fan photos at U-M football games at Michigan Stadium.   :jerkoff:

Also from Michigan...I thought this was rich:  The Best Basketball Attendance Promotion was NASCAR Night on Feb. 21, where mini "Michigan 89" cars were given away to fans.

2008: Middle Tennessee St - the Blue Raiders earned a silver award for the Family Fun Zone, an area inside Floyd Stadium created to target families with children’s activities like inflatables, face-painting and balloon artistry.

To that I give ku a big
I'd much rather have a 69 year old coach than one that weighs 400+ pounds.

Cal's Blue Zone and Gold Zone are just Fun Zones without the added fun of General Admission.  I don't know why they have their student section behind the home team...LHFAIQ (home field advantage).  :dunno:

Yeah, HD TV's and leather recliners are just completely white trash.

 :jerkoff:

They are when you are at a football game, and not stitting at home. :ku:

Magino would call campus security.  I'm sure he's never seen a treadmill.
