Michael Bay sucks.

^

In most instances, I'd agree with you.  In the case of Transformers, it is perfect for his directing style.

False. There's a difference between a mindless action film and a GOOD mindless action film. Bay's "films" are the former.
The whole "it's just giant robots!" is a cop out.  There have been plenty of good action films that have ridiculous plots that would never happen in real life, but they are still good.

    Romantic Fist Attachment
A friend of mine lives in LA and is in what I would consider Michael Bay's outside circle of friends.  So, apparently, they go to clubs or whatever and roll about 25 d00ds deep.  Michael has one full time assistant just to go to bars with him because he is incapable of ordering drinks or holding his cell phone.  He said the whole table will order food or drinks in the normal clockwise (or counter clockwise, whatevs.) order until it gets to Michael when his assistant will pipe up and order for the both of them.  Also, he will jump to the front of the group and open/hold doors for Michael but then let it go for the rest of the group.  Not really a big deal but I appreciate little weird/awkward stuff like this more than most.

    This ZERO is my Hero
No where near as good as the first.  It was entertaining, but overall left something to be desired.  If you saw the first one and thought, "man, there was too much story line and not enough explosions," then you will love this one.

Its entertaining, I don't think it as watchable as the first.

Though I did like how they took a jab at Obama in it.  I think it may have been unintentional, but it was a jab nonetheless.

Pretty good assessment... I liked the first one because there was a lot of suspense surrounding everything. The storyline in the first movie was better but overall action I would have to say the 2nd movie gets the better overall action...
