    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Those Panther fans are bitter....... :ksu:
"When Beasley dunked in the second half to make it a 12-point game, that was the loudest moment I’ve ever experienced at a college hoops game - Allen Fieldhouse included.”

Now that's how you get out a f***ing blood stain.
so if he gets his release he will be available to play the 2010-2011 season as a RS-Soph.  what if they don't release him?  does he have to sit out 2 years and/or lose a year of eligibility?
When I was a kid growing up in the projects, I used to dream of going into space, of escaping the slums, of killing an Ewok!

Reminds me of uk fan's favorite tap-out:  "Oh, we don't need or want a former top-10 player anyway.  We probably don't even have room for him anyway.  We'll be better of with out him..."

he'll go to a juco for his soph year then transfer to a d1 school.  presumably he'd play for the juco his soph year, and thus have 2 years of d1 eligibility left.

Any chance he would use his RS at whichever juco he ends up at?

he'd either have to be paying his own way or it'd have to be a juco that owes a serious favor to ksu or the tropics.

Don't really think it would serve a new coach and his program well to deny the transfer.

I don't care if he can't jump. Ed Nealy couldn't jump but he was a ferocious rebounder, could hit shots, and was a pretty good defender. Give me a 6-9 guy like Ed Nealy and I'll be happy. :)

Dude, Ed Nealy would get straight dominated in today's game.  Plus, he was only 6'7".  Not much room for slow 6'7" white guys now-a-days.

Agreed.  What a smile!  You can just tell he's a real "people person".

you can either play or you can't.  height is ridiculously overrated.

You can get by with being slow if you're 7 foot.  Not true if you're 6'7".

The Harrargody comparison is a good one, but I really can't see comparing Blair or James to Neely.  Totally different ball players.  Also, I wouldn't call either one of those guys slow.  Pretty damn impressive athletes IMO.
