You know what ...

Many other programs would cover up or pull strings to get one of their star receivers eligible.

I'll be proud of Coach Mangino and this program for winning the right way rather than manipulating the system.

hah.

lol! That just made my day

Well if I'm at a railroad crossing, and a train happens to crash, I'll probably turn and look.

I remember the last time you said a rumor was not true (Crawford):

IF anyone thinks, even for a second, that MM will let something trivial like school get in the way of football you haven't been watching that program.  They need to defend their pre-season North title.

I heard from a reliable source (Bob Krause) that Kansas State was so concerned about Briscoe not making grades they set up retirement funds for Briscoe's teachers in order to make grades. Mangino also gets a $250,000 sweet heart deal if Briscoe goes in the 1st round. THANK YOU KANSAS STATE!  :kstatriot:

Really too bad if it's true.  I hate seeing Big 12 student-athletes not succeeding, not to mention, team, state, conference.

Here you go Pike. Playing off of this comment and recent developments. thanks for trying to play along.

Joc Crawford... constantly on the minds of K-State fans, despite the fact that he sucked hard.  Once again, concern noted.

Bentard remember when you tried to convince that the Crawford, was just a misunderstood thug rapist??

Bentard . . . constantly flailing.

Kind of sad . . . really.

I simply pointed out that the guy was never convicted of rape... just simple misdemeanor assault.  You keep flailing at thin air, though, 'Pad.  Maybe at some point something will stick.

No you whined and cried about how the racist judicial system down and Memphis kept the kid down . . . and the only reason he wasn't convicted of a more serious crime was because the girl was too scared to testify.

No, I pointed out that the laws in Tennessee are different, and that Crawford would have had to spend quite a bit of time in jail waiting for the trial to play out if he hadn't plead guilty to the misdemeanor assault charges.  You keep obsessing over a guy who was 3rd string running back, though.

And I pointed out that the only reason why the DA couldn't get a rape conviction was because the victim was too scared to testify against the thug that was welcomed with open arms at ku.

Yeah it is funny . . . the tardville ku fans who always want to talk about the "good kids" ku recruits, but they welcome a thug rapist like Crawford with open arms . . . and thieves, and bong heads etc. etc.

Hypocrisy . . . thy name is Tardville ku fan.

Not sure what's wrong with giving guys a second chance.  It's not like K-State exclusively recruits choir boys and academic all-americans.  What's funny is that you're the biggest hypocrite of them all, Daxipad.  It also kills you that "tardville" has been so "off" on their predictions that ku basketball is preseason #1 and ku football is preseason top 25.  Meanwhile, K-State athletics is looking square in the face at massive corruption and tax evasion.  Wouldn't it just kill you if the board of regents discovered where some of that money was actually going?  Come on... just give me a quick estimate on the amount of cash Beasley and Walker were raking in during the detour of Manhattan.

Pre-season top 25?  Better hang a banner.

In terms of Beasley and Walker . . . it looks like they weren't getting enough money to stay at K-State, unlike Collins who worked an extremely lucrative deal via Bill Self and Doug Compton to stay in school another year at ku . . . you know, Doug Compton the guy who employs the Morris Twins mom (nothing to see here folks, move along), and sits right behind the ku bench.

The beautiful thing here, is what was going on at K-State has seen the light of day, and the Regents had numerous legs to stand on (approximately 47 different legal reasons in Kansas to not disclose this stuff), but sadly ku basketball is one those programs that will never be fully investigated like it should be given how they let the boosters influence that program.
