I think a million dollar idea would be to develop an iphone app or something that alerts you whenver there is going to be PK's.  Then, if you are just kinda a fan, you can tune into the really exciting parts.  Also could work for Hockey.

I think I like watching soccer on tv more than watching hockey, because at least you can follow the play developing. In Hockey if you blink, you miss the goal.  It's a terrible sport to watch drunk.

You are blind, I can see the puck in hockey.  Plus, no action ever develops in soccer, so there is nothing to miss during your time spent blinking.
