Also, does anyone know how much, if any, of Cal's staff stayed w/ Pastner?

Dalonte Hill was an up an comming World Wide Wes.  If Huggy would have seen that early on, he surely would have insisted he follow.  Luckily, Te was relatively unknown and Huggs had better connections in place.  Cal has Wes, and he's the best in the biz.  Keeps Cal's nose relatively clean and gives him the pick of the litter every year.

Te had better connections with Beasley, who was basically the lynch pin to the rest of the class.  Pastner was also not brought on board specifically to secure on of these guy, so he had no legitimacy when trying to set up his own show and no package deal to bring onto the team.

beasley came for hill.  walker was already enrolled.  no one else was worth taking.

I mean, outside of Beasley, our class was garbage.  As sys said, Walker was stuck.

It does seem that some of the "man behind the curtain" talk re. pas. was unfounded.  I think a better indication will be how he does with next season's class.

Dom, Jacob, Jamslam were all part of that class.

Dom was a very late signee and didn't even play the first half of the season.  Jake and Jamar (disclaimer:  I love them) were Wooly level recruits.

Wooly could have gotten a Chicago guard with Big10, Big Eat, and ACC offers?  And an East coast Pf with a Georgetown offer?   :jerkoff:  Maybe after they transferred to a juco.

The PF had eligibility issues and it's not like Wooly never landed anyone with any offers.

23. Kansas State: Cartier Martin is a talented forward who should be able to produce some points on the college level while Lance Harris is a favorite of RivalsHoops.com. Harris loves to play along the baseline to score his points. He is a very bouncy athlete. Dez Willingham runs a smart floor game from the guard position while big man Tyler Hughes should provide some inside help.

Even if that is true I will deny it.  I will take to my grave the belief that he did everything in his power to f^ck us.

I don't know...  Martin not only kept grcoat, he kept the vast majority of Hugs staff.  Pastner was left standing with his cork in his hand.  Starting to think Pastner just sucks.

Me too. Frank still says that Huggs kept K-State together. He took a shot at HCJC.

Frank = class.  Don't be mistaken though.  He says Self is a classy guy too.  But everyone knows Martin knows Self is scum and Huggins tried to power&@#% us, it just wouldn't do him any favors to say it.
