yup! they are officially in the database. fire up kayak and have fun guys!!

(btw, those prices don't sound reasonable)
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

But srsly, how do I do that right now?

Never doubt my EMAW.  Probably going to call in sick and get a sub that day.

talked with friend who works at AA today and he told me that he thinks there is quite a bit more work that needs to be done before tickets are available for purchase but that he isn't that involved with it so he's not 100%. his best guess was a couple of weeks.

thx. any "inside infro" on prices? pm if super secret.

i asked about this right after it was announced and he said he thought they'd be about fifty bucks more than the mci flights. not sure if he meant one way or round trip.

guess we know the answer here now.  :frown:

still not that bad though. the interesting part will be to see how they price them closer to actual flight time and how full they are. american employees can look on an in house system that's is color coded (red, yellow, green) and tells them how booked or overbooked a flight is.

ex-68/95 green.... 95 total seats, 68 sold, green indicating that you will almost assuredly be able to fly standby/get on that flight.

it would be worth a lot of board cred to the right people if you could get passwords or something to access this system and pm them round.

yeah, the percent chance of him trusting me with something like that is about 0%, i'll still ask though.

when he was interning w/ AA... him and some other interns would start looking for green flights in the middle of the week and then fly out friday after work and return home sunday. they once flew roundtrip first class to japan. got drunk on the way there (first class) went into town (tokyo?) stayed for like seven hours and then hopped on their return flight home. all basically free.

daris?

Thats better than what I thought they would be for considering there is no competition on that route.  They also have the luxury of the gov't paying for a lot of FT. Riley folks going back and forth.  I was expecting $500 rt's.

I once flew American Eagle from Charlotte, NC to Roanoke, VA.  Wasn't bad, to be honest.  Smaller, more "intimate" setting.

Call them.  You will, at minimum, get a flight credit for your next AA flight.   :AA:
