But when the buyout number is released - and my sources tell me it will be today - it should be staggering to most.

Man . . . was I ever wrong about Bob Krause . . . I guess I never caught on to his "I am a total dumbass who likely only got my job because my father in law is worth  hundreds of million of dollars" . . . very disappointing.   Curses to you Bob . . .

I blame the circus that is known as the Kansas State University Athletic Department.

gg, idiots.
I'd much rather have a 69 year old coach than one that weighs 400+ pounds.

Incredible.  Just when you think that Wefald and Krause couldn't act like bigger dipsh*ts, we get this.  It's like those two had battle on who could be the biggest retard....and honestly I'm not sure the who the winner is.  I suppose Jon gets it for being a complete and total dipsh*t for decades while in power, but Krause's retard impact in less than one year is quite astonishing.

Yes, it's baffling.  I have decided to point most of my anger at Wefald because he was technically in charge of Krause and could have been pulling the strings.  Even if he wasn't he should have known what was going on.  Both of them will hopefully die of old age or cancer soon.

Bill Snyder had better get a &@#%ing rake, because there's no more &@#%ing water to smooth.   Dirt farming, that's what you are &@#%ing left with.

Vanier needs to step up and pay us back for exposing us to his idiot son-in-law.  Write a check Jack...It's your old man's money anyway!!!!!

Makes you wonder about the "blank check" talk re. the ouster of Prince.  If that check has yet to be filled out we may still be ok.  Let's hope Jack hasn't put a stop pay on that SOB.

How could a supposed hands-on president not be aware of a rather large buyout for a coach that is about to get an extension and then again furthermore fired? I mean Wefald has to sign the contract, no? Did Krause just tell Wefald to initial here, here and here, while licking his fingers and quickly flipping through the pages? Did he tell Wefald that the large number was actually in pesos?

Bunch of f*cking goons.

Remember when those stories were going around about how Prince's wife was seen in tears as the final days lapsed?  Bitch was crying tears of joy.  Couldn't believe her man had outsmarted all those crackers....tears of joy and pride.

Tim Weiser and Ron Prince are both looking down on KSU from their towers and laughing their f^cking asses off.

I would be willing to bet gobs of money that, if he ever sits down to an interview to discuss WTF happened, Wefald brings up Goldwater scholarship numbers.

I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but what does this mean?

"Seems that $1.2 million buyout he gave to Ron Prince was actually a little - no, A LOT - low, "

Low to what?
"Bob and myself had a nice chuckle over that one. Bob told me, ‘How could I say the things I’ve been saying about Kansas State to the kids and go someplace else?’ ”

Low compared to what it actually was.  The real figure should come out today according to Jeff.

if it was a full contract buyout...multiplying Ron's new salary which I think was around 1m per year (thank you jon and bob) over 5 years would be about 5 million.  i don't know...this is probably why there was such an emphasis on transparency by the new administration.

This is a perfect example of why you should never donate money to the Ahearn Fund.  Just give it directly to the players imo.

This. Ron was being paid about $1.1 million (well for the better part of 6 months before we fired him). Full contract would be the difference in what wasn't paid yet - around an additional $4.4 million or so? Total of $5.5 million.

I'm just ballparking it right now though - kind of like Weefer.

Also maybe dedicate a urinal in Vanier, so players can pizz all over it just like Weef did to KSU athletics these last several years.
