If you had to root for another big 12 team besides K-State, what team would it be?

I'd say Okie State or Baylor.

CU. Dyed in the wool until I landed at KSU. Beautiful & loud stadium, great fans (if you're wearing gold), Boulder, hot chicks, winning tradition in football, etc. Also despite being technically 'not allowed', you can take in a case or a bottle and drink it directly in front of the security ppl and with no repercussions.

didn't want to post it, but....it is what it is. sheesh.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I'd much rather have a 69 year old coach than one that weighs 400+ pounds.

Iowa State.

Almost followed the high school buddies up there but decided EMAW Snyder was the way to go. That was '95.

A football program was about 95.5 percent of my pros and cons for choosing a university and good things were brewing. Iowa State had Todd Bandauer or somebody like that...and no depth. no brainer

at least you have a winning record over baylor.  makes it easier to cheer for them?
According to ku police reports, the fight involved as many as 100 people.
“We’re pretty sure an incident occurred,” said Capt. Schuyler Bailey, ku Public Safety Officer
“We will handle any discipline regarding this incident internally, and we will have no further comment about it.” Perkins

I actually grew up as an OU fan.

Sorry, but when I was a kid my choices for college teams to root for consisted of uk, KSU and WSU still had a team at that time (LOL).  The first year I decided to follow OU was 1985 and what do they do, but go and win the fracking NC.

Of course that all changed the day I set foot on the gorgeous KSU campus and got a massive dose of EMAW.

other than five downs...CU's claim to fame is a hail mary vs. Michigan and sometimes beating Nebraska. Other than that...give me a freakin' break.

Umm . . . I don't particularly like cu, but um, they're 664-426-26 all time in football (which is like WAAAY better than K-State),  they've been to 28 bowlss (which is like twice as many as K-State), they won 5 Big 8 titles, a national title, they've won the Big 12 north 4 times, and the big 12 once.

I was pro-Ralphie for many years as a youngster.  Even had a sweatshirt from there thanks to my grandparents in CO Springs.  Then the whole bibley coach who gave his daughter to the team came along and my EMAB died a natural death.

I appreciate what McCartney is trying to do with his beliefs . . . but it was extremely hard for me to reconcile that with the way he ran that football program, and what a complete A-Hole he was at times.

I'll have to check my history but I believe she only had babies by the starting QB's. So she was off limits to the team as a whole.

yeah, def. not a winning tradition. The football program is 16th on the all-time win list and 22nd in all-time winning percentage.
National titles 1
Conference titles 26
Heisman winners 1
All-Americans 61 (6 unanimous)

Pretty good genetics going there by only hooking up with QB's.  What ages are McCartney's bastard grandkids?  They have got to be getting to recruitment age by now.

Yeah sorry I thought they were both QBs but I guess not. The other kid was by a DT.

TC is on the roster at LSU... Looks like they are trying to move him from 12th string QB to a TE.
