Snyder was only .454 after his first 7 years in conference. 

1)  22-26-1 >>>>> 22-34.
2)  The previous seven years, we were 11-35-3.  A drastic improvement.
3)  In years 5-7 of Snyder's tenure, we were 14-6-1 in conference.
4)  Years 8-10 of said tenure, we were 21-3-0.  The fat man has an awful lot of work to do to catch up.

I know that all of you on this board think that Husker fans are irrational and we chose to fire Frank Solich.  That is definitely not the case.  Back about 10 years ago, we were not use to losing more than 2 games.  Even Solich knew that with what he inherited.  Going 9-3 when your team was a national champion contender doesn't appease a lot of fans.  Now I say that the firing was VERY VERY STUPID.  We should have given him 1 more year and if he didn't get a 10 win season than do it.  Fans were split on his firing while some said yes and some said no.  And remember its not the fans that decide whether to fire a coach its up to the A.D. and that SOB is finally gone.  I will tell you that this season the record was pretty good for our talent (9-4) but I wish we could have pulled out that win against V. Tech.  That would have been a great start to Pelini's career.  I am not in love with him but I think he has what it takes to win.  2010 will be a great year for the Huskers if not this year with so many of our players returning.

You can't take away 99-2003 when KSU should have let the classy cats play the game. Dont be fooled by the returning 2009 ksu players and automatically think they are going to suck.  The past few years KSTATE had the talent and a good team, but had a coaching staff that had no concept of how to scheme.  Great coaches come up with great game plans, which Prince had no plan and that is why he was canned.  So you see ksurage, what i am telling you is that you have no concept of football so keep posting to make yourself feel good about the past few years, but watch the extra excessive sweating Mangino has on gameday.
