Can we just Kevin "midget" Rizzo's name to "Captain Obvious".

Are programs that have only 1 season above .500 in conference play in the last 12 years relevant in the Big 12??

Great thread.

If what this is actually what a "4A varsity coach" said; he's either a) a pathetic coach or b) a ridiculous homer ku fan.

Maybe both.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not sold Coffman is remotely the answer here, but to make some sort of assessment by watching a handful of practices is just silly.  And I'm sure going against Ottawa's vaunted defense compared to K-State's or ku's (not that ours is going to be good) had nothing to do with how good the respective QBs looked.

Not only that, I seriously doubt OB let a 4A high school coach in for a 'handful' of practices.

Thread of the fracking day.

Ottawa is very "salty".

But personally, I am shocked that this might mean the defense is ahead of the offense.  In Spring Football that rarely, ever happens . . . rarely.

What it might also mean is that ku's 90th ranked defense from last year . . . might still look like a 90th ranked defense this year.

Coaches Clinic was last weekend, so this guy could've seen a couple practices there.

last time I checked Michael Bishop didn't exactly look like a Heisman Runner Up when he took over the reigns to Snyder's offense either.  however, after a few months of careful study, the dude became an absolute stud.

sorry hawkfanz, the luxury liner SS Coffmanishop has already set sail.  destination?  the rose bowl.

 8-)

(no charge for that one cubs, but step up your games pls)

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

OBz wouldn't even crack the playbook for those d00ds... I am with the "that guy is a Homer" thing.

Hey "I Need Validation",
I have a friend who works at school in the western part of the mid central northern area southeastern Kansas, and he is friends with a guy used play cards with a dude who was roommates with someone who walked to a place where there was a guy sitting outside who told him a girl who had  a dog that barked at someone under a coach that's on top of your mom who told him that the QB is Patterson.

Nice try.  :jerkoff:

    Knows What Brent Did...

Nope... ku will totally suck in '09 because they weren't good in '04.   Or something like that.

Wait...I thought that was why Snyder would suck?

Here's how smart Bill is when the dude came he used reversed psychology and had Carson go half ass. When the other schools made there Qbs look like studs to impress the guy. Trust me he's a genius he knows what he's doing.

P.S. 4a is  :bs: anyway
He's not the fastest guy in the BIG XII he's the fastest guy in the country.

ku 2006 - no bowl
ku 2007 - Orange Bowl 12- 1
ku 2008 - Insight.com Bowl 8-5

between '07 and '08 ku returned the nucleus of a team that won 12 games....and they only churned out 8 wins? And they got grudge humped by Tech in their own house...

steady progress to build towards 2009 imho

Bookcat =  :flush:

Nice, solid response Ben.  You totally and completely refuted all the facts in Bookcat's post and, in doing so, made him look like a raving lunatic.  Just out of curiosity, why did you choose to not go with a "I'm rubber and you're glue" or "I know you are, but what am I" response?  TIA.

I believe that would be Baldwin High. A crappy 4A school on the south armpit of Lowrentz.
