What's even funnier is the fact that, as a team, we were averaging like 80 yds a game rushing going into the NU game, but ended up rushing for like 250 yds or something up there...

Nothing like the soft as melted butter, pink-skirt defense to get a rushing attack back on track.

Oh let's see, true freshman Marlon Lucky decides it would be a good idea to bring a kick out of the end zone after fumbling it, leading to one of the safeties; true freshman Harrison Beck throws an ill-advised pass giving KSU points.  K-State's two scoring drives of the second half totaled all of 11 yards.  Put simply Nebraska didn't play too well, and yet still won. . .hm.

Actually, Beck wasn't in yet for that pass.  Taylor threw it to Ross in the endzone, where he was promptly tackled by true frosh Reggie Walker.

Put simply, KSU didn't play well either (and was last in the Big 12 north), yet NU needed a desperation field goal that was set up by a roughing the passer call on the final drive to escape with a home victory...

What's your point?

I don't think either team deserves to talk smack after last year's Pillow Fight of Epic Proportions...NU was just the team that survived and made the plays at the end when they needed to, but K-State could have just as easily won that game had the defense not fallen apart at the end (not that it was ever really "together" much under elliott over the last 2 seasons).

Who cares about what has happened in the past! Saturday is about the future. The Nebruskies are stuck in the epic battles of the past! I guess you can't blame them with the over time win in Lincoln to the likes of ku?  Their posts on our board constitutes nothing less than a meltdown. The ku  game in Lincoln has shaken their confidense. Just wait and see what happens if they lose this game on Saturday!  :lol:It won't be pretty

NU can't get to the QB this year and their secondary is getting picked apart.  I don't see how their defense is better...also lost two very experienced players at DT in "Big Stick" LeKevin Smith and the DE they had converted.

Offense is improved moreso but the OL is apparently banged up for this game.
