8-5 under Callahan > 10-2 under Solich as long as one of Callahans wins is against K-state according to 'skers.

Maybe you should go after Solich.  He has a winning record in Lincoln.

Well it shouldn't be hard for Prince to outcoach Callahan.  I don't think I have seen Callahan coach a game yet....

Oh come on now.  Did you not watch the SC game?  He coached them - right into the ground, that is.  "Playing to keep it close" LOL that's the worldbeater coach Nebraska fans were looking for to bring them back to prominance.

 :shy:
In his last 29 games (right about the time when all of Osborne's players moved on), Solich went 17-12 (with losses to teams like KSU, Iowa State, and Oklahoma State )

In his first 29 games, Bill Callahan is 18-11.  I suppose that's what happens when you take over for a drunken midget who refused to recruit.

Wow!!  From 17-12 to 18-11?!?!?  And, so far, Callahan has lost to KSU, Iowa State, and ku...

What a tremendous improvement.

More an illustration of the disaster that Solich left behind.  It'll take more than 2 seasons to fix it.

That's two years more than you were saying last year.

Apparently, there are project delays going on.

Face it... Callahan sucks.

Stoops won a Natl. Championship in year two with Blake's recruits.  Callahan played not to get blown out at USC and then gave up well over a quarter mile of offense to ku, and their offense SUCKS.

No charge.

At least he knows how to beat Baylor

Blake is a competent recruiter, but a poor head coach.  Solich is just a poor head coach, and wound up in Ohio for a reason.

Nobody in their right mind expected the rebuilding to be complete immediately.  Those who did are/were idiots.

You're talking about most of the Husker nation.  Most of the talk was "He's a Super Bowl Coach".

If I were you, I wouldn't go into any nebraska bars and start telling them they are all idiots.

Ok... Look, we realize we lost to Baylor.  We were pissed about it, but I don't think it bothers anybody that you are now bringing it up.  It's just weak and irrelevant now.  Try to keep up, ok?

Here's what y'all continually miss...  Solich was a good coach, but not so good at recruiting.  Now you have a good recruiter, that isn't such a good coach.

Therefore, the rebuilding will go on FOREVAR!!

Will Callie go down to Austin next week and milk the clock while curled up in the fetal postion hoping not to get blown out, or is that a once a season adventure?

Living in this state, the people I knew were more skeptical than they were overly optimistic.  Most of the misplaced bravado existed only on the internet, where god only knows who the hell was saying it.
