Plenty of horrible bands have stood the test of time for christ sakes.  Doesn't mean they're worth a crap just means there are a ton of people out there whose music taste is in their arse.  Pipes?  I could name 100 singers who have better pipes than that hack.  Kind of disappointed you only came up with sloth.  Don't really get the connection.
