KSU wins 4 or five games.  If the Cats don't score points they aren't going to win many games.  I don't seem much from the offense this year and they don't have the D they've had in the past to compensate for the lack of scoring.

You have to be a full-blown Powertard to think K-State will beat ku next year.  ku won by 31 points last season, and that's probably closer than what the game really was.  Plus, you guys lose Freeman, Campbell, Murphy, etc.

you have to be retarded to think Snyder would lose to fatty in Manhattan

didnt academic fraud U win by a lot more then that VS NU in 2007, then lose on the road to a 1st yr head coach at NU the following yr? thought so, run along now BJsquawk

I present to you exhibit A of the full blown Powertard: 97cat.

1.  Just because K-State hired Bill Snyder doesn't mean that the crap talent Ron Prince recruited is going to magically improve.

2.  Nebraska put up almost 40 points on ku in '07... it was their defense that was the problem.  Pelini came in and got Callahan's talent to play up to their potential.  I'd say there's quite a difference in the talent level at Nebraska right now and K-State.

Aside from that, I call it how I see it.  I witnessed 52-21 in person; the disparity in depth, size, and skill was incredible.  The score was 31-0 at halftime.  It probably could have been a lot worse than 52-21.  Now, I realize Bill Snyder will improve K-State's football program, but not in one year.  Go back to GPC if you want the routine circle jerk.

The cats are gonna suck this year, and I don't think they beat ku.  But using "ku won 52-21" is flawed logic.  Look at the ku vs. NU game.  Or look at K-State beating the crap out of ku 42-6 in 2003 and then losing in Lawrence in 2004.

3 conference wins---ISU, aTm, and CU.
3 OOC wins-- UMass, Tenn Tech, & ULL

Could see one additional win out of UCLA or Mizzou. I don't know if Pinkel really learned how to coach the last two years, or Chase Daniels was a winner (ala VY at UT), plus they lose all their playmakers and some asst coaches.

I may be wrong but don't we need to go 7-5 to get a bowl? Only one D-1AA win counts right?

    The very best.
coaching can only take you so far, but our roster is diffy from last year.

whether or not that's a good thing, only god can answer (for now)   :kstatriot:
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Bwwwaahhhhhhhhhhh, and I present to you a VERY worried squawk that lives on all of KStates boards

Fatty has only had 1 season (in what 7?) where he had a record of over .500 in conf play. Just one. And besides Mizzou, no one that yr in the north was any good

Poor BJsquawk...nothing else to do but worry about KState

Okay, 97cat.  If you're so confident, put your money where your mouth is.  I got $50 that ku wins in Manhattan.
